Not a wildlife sanctuary...

In this Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary my husband and I had a very sweet memory as I had a forest trek in the night. It was a thrilling experience.

If you have confidence on your own that you will arrange everything for yourself then you should go and spend some time in golitar log house and namrang first bungalow. No body will come to disturb you. Suddenly you will realise that there is nobody except you and nature. Wildlife sanctuary does not satisfy you with tiger sighting off course... More

Visit date: end January 2016 It's not a wildlife sanctuary. But great place to go birding. It's like a reserved forest with log huts managed by the forest department. Definitely a place to go if you want to experience night out in the forest. There's a forest trek, about 4 kms, from where one can see great views. Do carry... More

This is an excellent, wild location for fairly strenuous guided hikes (a bamboo staff or other means of support can be helpful). The views can be exceptional, locations of medicinal plants and animal signs (bear and barking deer) intriguing. The humidity can be high and one can even see signs of animist traditions along the trails. A little bit of... More

Disappointing tourist spot. Can't call it a wildlife sanctuary. Please give it a miss. Totally not worth it

This is an excellent location for the adventurous (with the proper permits and on the payment of a fee if you require a guide). Not for people with no sense of balance or a fear of little leeches (come on! You only make a tiny donation). You can be rewarded with amazing rainforest plants, birds, butterflies and even the occasional... More
