    Cleanest beach
This is one of the cleanest beach in Pondicherry. You need to take a ferry to beach. If you are going into water, pls note that shower area is very dirty and smells badly. Sometimw, there is no water also. So it will be difficult to clean yourself after a bath in the sea. Limited fun activities - camel and horse ride etc. Can see people drinking opening on the beach and no one was taking any action. Ferry ticket should be kept for return journey as well.

    A clean Brach
This is one Beach at Puducherry which u have to access through a boat/ferry. The same can be taken from Chunnambar Boat House. The first boat is at 0900 and the last return boat is at 1730. The Boat ride is nice and pleasant. The Beach is clean and not overly crowded. However during afternoon times the Sand is very hot. There are not many activities available except camel and horse ride. There are shacks that sell Coconut Water and one Shack which doubles as a Beach restaurant. The menu is quite adequate but pricing is high and the seating comfort is not there. There is also a fish spa available. Avoid getting wet into the Sea as there are no adequate bathing facilities. Overall worth a visit only once ( More so because of the restricted timings )

    Lovely beach worth a visit
Fantastic clean beach with excellent views. Need to get there via a boat, which is a nice pleasant ride. Lost a star could do with more facilities, eg, sun loungers, more restaurants, etc. The best thing is that it's inexpensive a few hours outing.

Paradise Beach, much hyped, but nothing special.
Beach can be reached by taking a 15 minutes boat ride. Return trip charges for the boat ride is Rs. 354 including GST. Beach is very long and wide, clean, laden with golden sand. Debri deposited by the high tide are frequently cleaned. Beach, though very long, only a small stretch is allowed for the use of general public. Rest of the area is reserved for private resort. There is no much activities on the beach on week days. Not sure if there is any on week ends and holidays. Though a known tourist destination in Pondicherry, there is absolutely nothing here to attract tourists except the vast sea and the golden sand. But for those who live in the costal states, this is just another ordinary beach that one gets to see along Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal. Except for a dilapidated, thatched roofed hut supposed to be a restaurant that doesn't serve even tea or coffee, there is not a single shop or any other facilities for visitors in this beach. The much acclaimed Paradise Beach is just another highly hyped and publicised place by tourism industry to attract visitors. The 354 rupees fare for a 15 minutes ride is too high. The visit is not worth the money. If you are hard pressed for time, you can easily avoid visiting this beach. You won't miss any thing.

    Clean and peaceful beach
Cleanliness: This was the first thing that struck me. The beach is very well-maintained and free of litter. Peaceful atmosphere: Unlike some other beaches in India, Paradise Beach is relatively quiet and uncrowded. This made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

    How to reach paradise beach
You have to take boat from Chunnambar Boat House to go to paradise beach and that's the only way. They have huge parking space, so you don't have to worry about any parking issue. They have two types of boat rides: Motor and Speed Boat. The speed boat charges are expensive as compared to Motor boat. We chose motor boat for ourselves and we didn't regret even a single bit for it. The best time to go there is in the evening. The beach is clean, and they just have shower area, which was unsanitary.

    Paradise beach ⛱️
Paradise beach is one of the cleanest beaches I have visited in India. The water was crystal clear without any flotsam or debris. No vendors coming and nagging you to buy knick knacks.it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the long walk along the seashore. Definitely worth a visit. The only irritant were the auto driver's who quarrel with tourists and force you to pay exorbitant rates for a drop back to Pondy.

Not worth the effort it takes to reach there
It’s a beach you need to visit via a boat service. The boats run at specific intervals and one to return back on the designated time. We reached there in the evening probably it was the last boat, after reaching we had spent hardly 30 mins and we were asked to reach the boat boarding area as it was there closing time. One can visit other beaches which are easier and cleaner than this one, such as eden beach.

The beach is no doubt beautiful with the beautiful golden sand and the clear waters. I even had a good time taking a dip in the waters and enjoyed in the sea for quite some time. The beach being huge it was crowded but the crowd got dispersed.

However, the huge amount of time we spent at Chunambar Boathouse to just board the boat dampened our spirit to a great extent. Plus the unhygienic conditions of the women's bathroom made the shower and dress changing experience a nightmare. It is better for ladies to nylon swim-friendly clothes and get a coverup dress instead of going through the nightmare of changing in the unhygienic shower-rooms.

The beach activites were nothing functional only camel-ride which being a strong animal-lover like me, I severely condemn. There was a separate rain-dance area which was OKish and yeah can be regarded as a positive point.

In order to visit this beach, you have to reach Chunnambar boat house. You have to pay for parking separately, entry ticket separately and from there to go to the Paradise beach again you have to pay for the boat which is very costly if you are taking a separate boat. After reaching the beach, there are few activities such as horse ride, camel ride, bike ride which are all very very very costly. but you don't have an option. Beach is good
