This is a nice green place near the Raj Bhavan and very close to the Promenade. The place has nice pictures of various animals in exquisite granite pillars. One can go through to enjoy the serene atmosphere.

Not far from the main center on the other block of Beach Road is this nice park where you can enjoy foliage, flowers, and benches to sit on. There were many kids playing around. It is fairly decently tidy and no riffs. A nice place to rest.

Near to the promenade. Children's activities & walking area. Maintenance needs improvement. Shady place but crowded. Named after the poet Subramanya Bharati.

The Government Park is also known as Bharati Park. The greenest attraction is in middle of puduchery.Main attraction of park is monument built dedicated to a prostiturte named Aayi and the monument is called Aayi Mandapam in white marble in period of Napoleon-3, French Emperor. A nice and well spread and maintain garden having lushed treess and surrounded by Vip location of Puduchery.

Spend about ten minutes walking around this park, it's pleasant and tranquil. Opposite the park is the governor's bungalow and in the centre of the park is the Aayi Mandapam, the symbol of Pondicherry

Named after the philosopher, poet, freedom fighter Subramanya Bharati who had spent his last days in Pondicherry as he was wanted in British India. Large area, not really well maintained, but a lot of local people use this place for morning walks/ jogging and to relax

This park is very near to sea-side promenade of Pondicherry. I reached here in the evening time ,so visibility was little poor. However it is a medium size park, free for all. Any person may come here with alone or family and enjoy its greenery. Many important Gove buildings are situated around this park .It is a sort of regular walking park for peoples residing in surrounding area. Walking roads with many sitting benches were seen on both the sides. This public park is not well maintained since rubbish was seen at many places. General public also has very little civic sense and they through rubbish anywhere except in dustbin. Attraction of this park is a statue of Conch and a Monument, constructed during French regime, known as-Aye Mandapam.

We visited this park in the morning around 9:30 am on a weekday and it was fairly empty with only a few people walking and exercising. The ample trees and plants keep the park cool and shaded and it a perfect place to spend a hot morning if you want to be outdoors. Our daughter had a good time, playing in the park - they had swings, see-saw, slides and other climbing structures. Good place if you have kids or want to do some exercises in the park.

A very nice Park to walk round under shade in the heat of the day. It has an amazing structure at the centre of the park. The best thing is to go back and see it at night. The park and structure lit up by lights looks great and a fountain with ever changing coloured lights. Go see and sit relax and enjoy

This is a neat park, opposite The Raj Nivas . It has nice carvings of exotic animals on painted granite pillars running through it, also paintings of butterflies at the Raj Nivas entrance.
