Unlike what is mentioned everywhere, it's closed on Sunday. And the exterior of the shop is not what is shown. It's not visible from road. It's inside a hotel.

This is my third visit entirely new location in a heritage home with new stuffs starting from postcards,notebooks,magnets,candles,tshirts,bags,coasters,clothings etc....it seems like there going to be a cafe soon all the best for the team .Harry the guy who works was very helpful. overall enjoyed the place with my friends.

MA PONDY CHERIE managed to stay as good as they were in their former place.although it is a complete new atmosphere.a little café should open as well.bravo !

What a nice rating and review. We are so happy that you like so much our new ambience. Unique products are still there and the old french pondicherian house is beautiful. Hope to see you again .

As a repeater client of MA PONDY CHERIE I was anxious to see the new place.Although they had moved only one day earlier when we went the place looked already fantastic.It is pretty much different from their previous location but the heritage atmosphere of this very old Pondicherian house mix with the modernity of the products is astonish.A must visit

We had read reviews about this shop and when we came to Pondicherry we went for a look.It is really an unusual store with magnificent wall frescos and nice music too.A unique atmosphere where you can buy beautiful books and souvenirs.My wife bought 2 dresses and I couldn't resist to offer her a beautiful necklace.There are items for all budget.The owner is really nice and made the experience even better.it is on the first floor of a tamoul house.a must visit.

I got a chance to visit this place after going through the reviews over here and google.
As I walked from the glittery and shiny pondy market and edging close to a dark alley, Google prompted that I have arrived. From the looks of it, it did not look seem to be a "happening" place, but I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of the place.
There was a wide variety of products, majorly handcrafted, ranging from books, notepads, postcards to pillows, shirts, and bags. I loved most of them, as they were kind of quirky and not the stereotypical ones, such as "I love pondy!", oh, wait they were there too but cooler!
As an online shopper and someone who has a lived in a major city, I could get a sense that I will get some of the products outside Pondy as well, but got me sold was the host!!
The host was this incredibly awesome dude, who is just chilling to his music, but his life stories were mind-blowing, and just such a fun conversation. He totally sells the place to you and I ended up buying some great gifts for myself and my family.

You must visit this place when you're in Pondicherry. The best place to buy a lot of things from journals and fridge magnets to clothes and accessories. They have unique collection and very friendly staff. We were lucky to meet the shop owner and receive a gift from him.

Ma Pondi Cherie is a quaint boutique with the cutest things to offer. This was my second visit and I could see that they have spruced up the place with vibrant colours making the store much more beautiful. They offer a wide range of lovely products ranging from Notebooks to wallets and postcards.
You know you're in the right place when the host is utterly generous in indulging customers in a conversation. Jean is an absolute gem who makes people feel at home. I'm sure I'll visit this boutique many more times. Solid 5 stars :)

My go-to place whenever I visit pondy. I live in Chennai. Comparing the prices of the products of the same quality, it is costly here but worth it. I always buy their handmade soaps.
