Loved sitting in the bars of the square watching the world go by, having a few drinks and eating dinner! Such a shame that the music in the band stand has been stopped due to a single complaint ! Lots of people disappointed in this,...More

Without live music from the bandstand, the place is soulless. Bars and restaurants still attract large numbers as do the markets on Wednesday and Friday nights, but the live music just lit the whole place up and was a perfect focus point.

We came here for the Wednesday and Friday night markets and decided to get something to eat at one of the many restaurants. It was a 10min walk from our hotel.

Great atmosphere , some great bars and Restaurants- normally music as well but doesn't seem to be on present. Some great bars- try Chispas very cheap and Simon's customer service skills are legendary!

About 10 minutes steady walk. We were in the Hotel Beatriz which is further up the hill. We passed the El Trebol most days and our hotel was only 15 minutes from the square.
