Worth a visit

We went here on a cloudy morning to fill in a couple of hours. We were pleasantly surprised it's a very good aquarium and certainly worth the visit.

It's a nice aquarium but for 42€ I was expecting a bit more. Feel abit cheated out of my money was over in less then half an hour.

Much smaller than anticipated. Nice variation of fish and sea creatures. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. Took my little boy who's 2 and he enjoyed it. Special note to the Turtle rehabilitation center they have going on there. Superb.

We visited here in May mainly because we were looking to pass a morning and out of the sun. We were staying in Puerto Del Carmen and got a city bus to Costa Teguise. The bus cost 5.90 for 2 passengers, we arrived near the aquarium and only had a short walk. I kinda knew from looking at the outside... More

The aquarium looks humble on the outside. Go downstairs and it has all the wonders you'd expect and more. A great distraction for young kids. Stunning varieties of fish and the most massive stingray you'll ever clap eyes on. The 'shark tunnel' is super cool, especially if the gentlemen turtle shows up for contrast. If you really want the downside,... More

Could do with being in a better location as much of the surrounding area looks a bit tatty but once inside you can spend an absorbing couple of hours. A huge variety of sea creatures are there to be seen in large tanks. There seemed to be some sort of sea turtle rescue facility which if it's all true is... More

Absolutely the worse aquarium I have ever been to and I've been to quite a few in many different cities. We were the only visitors there so maybe all the peeling paint and dirt were all the more glaringly obvious because of that. If you are with a young child they probably won't care but it's very small so you'll... More
