This museum i a must visit attraction. It gives a wonderful insight to the early gumdigging days amongst other things. If in Dargaville, please take time out to visit. You wont be dissapointed

Dargaville Museum is built on a hill and has great views. A huge museum with many interesting things to see. Mostly about the kauri gum diggers in the Dargaville area, with all their tools and earth floor huts etc. Staff excellent and oh, so helpful....More

A very impressive museum. Obviously some of the members of staff had gone to great efforts to ensure things were nicely displayed. So much of the history of the area was nicely exhibited. Great work folks.
