This University has been a known centre of excellence in north India, but in last decade, it has veered totally towards commercial aspects and its fees have shot through the roof. Hence instead of attracting real talent, it is attracting only those who can afford it. Has all top notch facilities and its staff is also exceptionally qualified.

I have worked in 4 different companies and i find at least one employee who have studied from Thapar University. This is a great achievement.

Amdist lush green trees and peacocks is a very peaceful University in Patiala that is Thapar University.
Eqquiped with the latest facilities and earthquake resistant buildings and a breathtaking architecture. This University has all on merit to offer engineering courses.

If Patiala is a famous city, then this institute is a major contributor for the same. The institute as well as the students are recognized worldwide. I have myself done by Engineering degrees from this esteemed place. Proud to be a Thaparian!!

Had a visit to the Thapar University Patiala during a morning walk and I was back in time about 50 years.I graduated from Thapar and all my three kids also graduated from the same Institution. An institution of excellence in the engineering field in the Northern India.

It offers a lot of Technical courses. Hostel facility is provided. Has a Canteen, Sporting facilities, Lots of workshops and a colony for the staff along with a R&D Center.
