Moganshan is a very nice area, pretty silent if you are taking the old ways, nobody is going. It's a little of a hike to get through the small paths sometimes but very enjoyable and a good weekend escape from shanghai! Worth a visit!

Beautiful bamboo forest. Be prepared for some exercise hiking the area. Enjoyed the trip very much. Recommend to wake up early ~4am for early sunrise photo shoot, which I regretfully missed.

I went here alone, very easy to get to from Shanghai by train. Stay at the top of the mountain for easy access to scenic spots, it is also cooler than at the bottom (although in summer, it was still very wam). Usually I book...More
