After the recent upgrades the place are bery nice. The shop well stocked and the additional shading around the swimming pool helps against the bushveld sun. The recent rain also made the veld look good even though the bush is a bit thick at certain places.

Very nice accomodations. Perfect for the whole family. Lots of wildlife to see and enjoy. Mini golfing, swimming pools, and games for children and families alike. Lots of places to walk around. Chalets are beautiful and spacious. The restaurant has good food. Beautiful views everywhere. A great place to vacation with your family.

We rented private lodges on a regular basis in Mabalingwe for the last couple of years. Some are more luxurious than others, but we always had a nice stay in a beautiful and relaxed environment. We were there again with friends from the 17-21 March in one of the luxury private properties. Unfortunately someone broke into the house on the... More

We've been to Mabalingwe many a time. This resort also cater for the very active visitor (tennis, squash, mountain bike) If you are comfortable on the back of a horse, going out on horseback is a must do. You just get so close to the animals. A lot more commercial than other reserves. Try to get a chalet far from... More

We stayed in one of the 2 bed chalets in Tlou Camp, no 9 to be specific. The outside light was not working, when we got home late that evening we had to use our cellphones for light to enter our unit. The toilet was leaking and the floor was wet all the time. The next morning we made coffee... More

The lions are beautiful, the restaurant has a beautiful view of the river and surrounding mountains and their food is exquisite. We go as a couple in the week and then have our kids and grand kids join us for the weekend. The Kwêvoël is often seen as are the wild boars that come and eat apples or potatoes on... More

Although the cost for a chalet is expensive the place is very nice. We booked one night to sleep over at Mabalingwe. The reception was warm and the receptionist was helpful to ensure our arrival went well. The rooms/chalets was neat and tidy and the atmosphere very comfortable.
