You need a full day to explore this park. We self drove from Gold Coast and stopped along several lookouts including natural bridge and twin falls. Gorgeous hikes and lookouts. Easy to do with young children.
However we didn’t have enough time to cover Tamborine. The shops there close early at 3pm so we skipped Tambourine.
I recommend this drive 100% if you happen to stay in the GC. Originally we were debating if we should visit theme park for a day for do this drive. We are so glad we chose this self drive. 200% better than theme parks

Beautiful rainforest with stunning flora. The trees are just breath-takingly beautiful, the pathway around the park makes for a very comfortable hike. Loved the waterfalls too. A beautiful place to visit to fill your lungs with clean air. Loved that the walk/hike is mostly in the shade.

What an amazing find! We’re in Gold Coast for a family holiday and rented a car - so we made our way to view the country. Springbrook National Park has got to be a favourite. I’m glad we didn’t book a tour, as to spend the time without any rush was the best. A tip, but definitely walk clockwise as there are steps on the way down (and a nice gradual slope in the way back up), but I would have hated taking the steps coming back up!

We had a wonderful day exploring Springbrook National Park. Highlight was the Natural Bridge - I suggest getting there early so that you can enjoy it yourself, without the crowd. When we were leaving there were about 20 cars in the carpark.

We also visited other areas of the park including the ‘Best of all lookouts’ track, which was a lovely short walk, The Canyon - which is a lovely lookout and starting point for walks such as twin falls, Buliya-Buliya jagon boardwalk, Goomoolahra lookout, and Boojerahla lookout.

Just a tip, the Natural Bridge section of the park is about 45 minutes from the other sections of the park, so ensure you take that under consideration when planning your trip and choosing which starting point to put into your GPS.

We had a very nice easy walk through the forest trail. We were rewarded with a beautiful sight of this iconic waterfall. The whole walk was about 1 hour. This walk is easy and not to be missed if you visit Springbrook National Park.

Went in the middle of the night in search of the glow worm cave and it is free. Path is very dark and could do with red light to help visitors.

Beautiful glow worms and the waterfall in the cave is amazing. Would like to return for a hike in the day!

Had a pleasant walk through the rainforest. A bit chilly up there given the time of year, but surroundings were lush, clean and fresh and really enjoyed the exercise

Oversold and underwhelming, after a long drive to get there this really does not live up to expectations

What’s NOT to love about Springbrook? If you love nature, without the teenage noise and overcrowding the swim holes - you will love Springbrook! We have a toddler and a 9 yr old and they did great with the shorter tracks. Our favourite so far is Twin Falls, especially after rainfall! Wow, just wow! We love nature and being outdoors and believe me, our thirst was quenched after Springbrook. We will be repeat goers here for sure!!! It’s nice to be amongst nature and just take it all in, ever so peacefully.
