The Gold Coast Fisherman's Co-op is THE place to get your prawns, crabs and bugs. They go offshore overnight, catch their offerings and then sell them directly from the boats starting early mornings. There can be anywhere from 4-10 boats selling their freshly caught seafood....More

Each day the boats head out and catch prawns, crabs, bugs etc, cook them on the boats and then sell them to the general public. You simply can NOT get fresher seafood anywhere. And there is the prices, $30 a KG for the BIGGEST KING...More

Arrive at 0620 Trawlers start selling from 0630 Beautiful Prawns - $20.00/KG - medium Bought 2KG and had them over three days with friends. Stayed fresh.

Just arrived back at Surfers, always love the freshest seafood from the trawlers at the Coop. This morning could hardly wait, trawlers in just after 6am, hardly anyone waiting. The tastiest and freshest king prawns out from just $25 per kilo. Already sampled, they are...More

Omg the prawns are awesome. We love seafood and eat it regularly you couldn't get any fresher they were melt in the mouth and heaps of flavour. Make sure your there early but we will definitely be back when holidaying again.
