Great show full of talented people however the food was average at best, which was a shame.
The staff are excellent and made the night enjoyable. The bar is very well run and the wait staff fast. Interesting Drinks menu which added to the fun. Good for a group.

We had an absolute blast from start to finish. This is an experience I had wanted to do for years and it definitely met expectations and more!

Took the VIP Package:
1. Quality 3-Course Dinner. Overcooked and dry beef, pretty average food.
2. Priority Entrance. Nothing priority about it. 25min in line, and all it was for was a ride in the ghost train which was very average. We bought some of the 'blood' cocktails while we were waiting which were basically apple juice with almost no alcohol in them....for $20!
3. Complementary sparkling wine on arrival. This is a luke-warm unopened bottle of Moscato sitting at the table when you go in. Not "on arrival".
4. Souvenir item: a glow in the dark wrist band!
5. Best available seating. We had a party of 9, and were separated into two rows right up in the far back corner.... I think it's unethical to label this as "VIP".
In short, as a group, it was pretty disappointing to not be seated all together and really diminished the experience. No fun interaction with the wait staff like they used to. The "VIP" package is a money grab. If we'd just got normal tickets, we would have gone straight in and sat down.... and bought ice cold drinks when we got there.
It's a shame about all of the above, because the show was great, and the performers were truly world class. Outstanding work to the performers!! - it's just a shame the management has let you down.
So worth going, but don't book VIP and call up and ask whether you are sitting at the tables on the floor level or in front.

My boyfriend and I went there for the dinner and show
Firstly if your a prude or offended easily this isn’t for you at all. This place is for people who love interacting and a good giggle. The service was amazing the staff were very quick with getting drinks and serving you your dinner. The show was amazing with the ribbon ropes cages dancing high up in the air it really is a must see and do if you go up. Will definitely go back again for sure.

The performers were World Class, we had the most wonderful night of entertainment. The costumes were spectacular. The staff were so lovely and really looked after us. The food was yummy too! A new ghost train too- how lucky were we!

Absolutely stunning show. The craftsmanship of the make up, stunts, food, drinks, performances, every aspect of the experience is simply second to none.

Don't take any notice of the negative reviews as they've taken all the constructive criticism & turned this show into something spectacular & memorable. 10/10 for everything including service, food, drinks, staff & the extremely talented performers & show. Expect up to 15 minutes wait outside before you get immersed in the whole experience. Highly recommended! :)

Never seen anything worse than this - and I’ve seen a lot of shows, embarrassingly bad, only show I have ever walked out half way through

I went 3 times approximately 20 years ago. It’s changed significantly. The show was awesome yes. All the staff are far too young teens. Why not have a good mixture? They don’t really interact with you like they used to. The VIP free bottle of wine was sickly sweet sugar and undrinkable.
I really liked how they’ve moved on with the times and you can order your drinks via an app or order through your waiter, whichever you prefer. I like that some staff were in character but not all of them could be bothered to interact. I love the venue still and I like the upgrades they’ve done. We went on the new ghost train which I loved! I’d go back again to see if staffing improves. It used to be bloody fantastic!

The performance was very disappointing, a hotch potch nothing flowed and didn’t make sense. Acts went from amazing to extremely poor unrelated terrible mime ventriloquist to fill in time the whole performance nothing to do with Dracula. Wouldn’t go again. Food okay mocktails tasted like unwatered down cordial. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

If bringing teens, do they check their ID’s for age (like school ID’s) to make sure they are over 15?

Dracula's Cabaret
Gold Coast, Australia
Hi Katie,
Our show is MA15+ It is for mature audiences as it does contain course language, drug and sexual references and mild nudity.
We definitely recommend being 15 years or older to attend our show!

Has anyone accidently booked the incorrect date? No refund policy and we have paid $700 for the 5 of us.

I’m rather confident that if you explained your circumstances that they would allow your change of date..
The whole place seemed very professional and well run to me so I’d be surprised if they weren’t keen to assist .
Just my thoughts....

Has anyone purchased the 2 for $50 tickets for Draculas from the Wyndham group in Cavill Ave? Happy to to tour their property but not keen to get stitched up.

You will have to sit while they try to sell you a time share holiday. Don’t do it, it’s not worth the so called 90 min
Then you will either be able to get your two tickets or they will say you do not meet the requirements.
Normally if it’s that cheap it’s a scam
I did it once -NEVER AGAIN
Good luck,

Just wondering what time we should get there? What time do the doors open? What time does the show start? Is there time to have a drink when we first arrive? Thank you

We got there as a VIP at 6.30 and there was over an hour to have the arrival bubbles and nibbles, do the train ride, have a drink, and go to the bathroom before the show started.

Hi guys! Just wondering if it's worth the extra to go VIP? Seating wise
Ashleigh Jane

We thought VIP was worth it. You enter 30 mins before, so any sense of "rush" (as talked about in some reviews) is eliminated. You get second tier seating so you can watch the show without turning around or looking up. You get attended to faster, and able to pay bill and leave quicker.

Hey so I just booked tickets to draculas. Not the VIP ones just the normal tickets and I would like to know if the food is included. I thought the tickets were quite pricey but I'd be disappointed if the food isn't included. Thanks

Absolutely included...and every meal I have had on multiple visits was terrific. Served quickly, though so the show can begin.
