Booked the Tasman helicopter snow landing and flew with Craig, but the weather was not suitable to land so we went through to the Murchison glacier where we did land. Fantastic service to ensure we all got to see the best available views and experience. Went back later when the weather had cleared and did fixed wing with pilot Greg... More

Best day tour and trip we have done whilst travelling through the South Island of NZ. We decided between different tours, flights and hikes. To be fair, the scenic flight was the bigger investment, compared to the other trips, however, it was a scenic short cut due to our limited time we had available to explore the Mt Cook Area.... As we have been in helicopters many times we took the Ski Plane this time. Wow was it the right decision! Our Pilot's 30 years of experience showed in the excellent landing on Tasman Glacier and the skilful way in which he managed to get us close-up to the summit of Mt Cook in strong winds. The scenery leaves one... More

Some of our friends think that helicopter or ski plane flights are too expensive. They are not cheap but worth every cent. You see and experience sights that would not otherwise be available. We flew around the Mt Cook face and landed at the hut to drop off two climbers. We then flew up the Tasman Glacier and stopped on... More

We did the combo helicopter and ski plane tour. The scenery is superb and the pilots are great. We were lucky and our tour needed to take some climbers to Mt Cook, so we were dropped off on the lower Tasman Glacier to hang out for a bit. Then the helicopter took us to the top of the Franz Josef... More

Thanks Glen for your review, we feel very fortunate to be able to offer the Ultimate Alpine Experience (Combo flight) as it's the only place in the world you can do this. Also pleased that Pete looked after you both so well. Pete sends his regards. More

This was the most amazing experience anyone in our family had ever had. Our pilot, Mark, was tremendous- very experienced, fun loving, and personable. And wow, he was a great pilot. We loved every minute of this and it was definitely a fabulous adventure.

We did their longest tour, the Grand Circle. We landed on the Tasman and the Franz Josef glacier. Thanks to the experienced pilot Pete it was a smooth and comfortable ride, landing and take-off every time. Walking on the glaciers is an unforgettable experience and so is seeing the anatomy of the mountains from so close.

During my holidays with me ma, auntie and partner, I wanted to show them the nest of NZ. They had never been here and were instantly blown away by the south island mountain views. What better way to see it than to land on a mountain/glacier, in a place, with skis! My mum isn't the best flyer but she handled... More

This was fantastic, a perfect day, our pilot was Pete and my husband sat in the front seat next to Pete. It was well worth the money, and my husband took some great photos.
