My guide Ewan did an amazing job guiding me on this trip in some challenging conditions (snow and strong winds). When it was sunny, we were quick to get out and take advantage of the conditions and getting close to the pass. Alpine Recreations Introductory Climbing Course is the perfect introduction to mountaineering for beginners. We spent 6 days at their privately owned 'Caroline Hut' in Mt Cook National Park.
