We got the combined ticket (cable car, ice palace, suspension bridge & skywalk) from the foot of the cable car (plenty of parking but it was nearly full by mid-late morning). The view from the cable car itself was fantastic and to then be able...More

We only had time to take the cable car up and walk around for a bit, but even that was worth it. Such stunning views. It is always a bit colder at the top, so make sure you have a warm sweater with you, even...More

We absolutely loved it! You take a cable car up to approximately 3000 m height. Dress up warm as there is very cold and windy. There is a viewing platform to one side and then you can walk to Suspension bridge, Stairway to nothing and...More

Key to any visit is the weather, so wait for a day with minimal cloud cover. The drive up is an interesting challenge in winter. Remember to take the car ticket to the top, as the €14 drive is free if you punch your ticket...More

Wrap up warm if you are going up on the cable car. We were there on a 'warm' day, it was only -6c. Up at the top there was a 70km wind blowing which, with the wind chill, brought it down to about -15c. The...More

I visited the Skywalk with my 12 years old daughter. We were both impressed with the view. We were lucky because it was a clear sunny day so we could see very far. It’s really worth visiting when you are in Austria.

We were greeted by unexpected snowfall so no visibility from the skywalk but on a clear day the view would be spectacular.

Visited last August with the family. Even in August very cold once you reach the top (very!). Skywalk is short but very cool, after the sky walk you enter the ice cave which has immersive sculptures. Very slippery - watch out. Verify you understand all...More

We had booked the ticket for the cable car ride in advance (which is a must during main season. No tickets available at the booth if you want to ride up the mountain on the same day!). After a unique ride up the mountain ON...More

Sorry but I do not know as we were there in winter. The other thing to consider is that there is a glacier on top so will always be cold and icy at the top.
