Overview
More
Steeped in centuries of legend and surrounded by the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour lies at the very heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey. The exceptionally pure, soft spring water used for making Aberlour whisky is drawn from nearby natural springs. In this special place, the resources of nature and the founder’s passion for making the best single malt combine to make the generously multi-layered whiskies of Aberlour.

Loved the tour. As every distillery is different, also this one had some new and interesting features. Tasting was also a lot of fun thanks to the tourguide.

Our host at the tasting room was lovely and the rooms felt like a classy club room. The founder of the distillery made a lot of difference in town. Yummy whisky...tours fill up, so book ahead.

1 hour tour with a tasting at the end. Got to see all areas of production and storage and great information. Tasting at the end that included some of their better whiskies as well. Great whiskey and good time.
