This place is fun. It's a hidden little gem in a neighborhood atmosphere. When driving there it felt like we were going the wrong way. It's a self guided walking tour that provides some great history of the Lighthouse when it was in use and history of the area. It's beautiful on the inside and a fun, exhausting walk to... More

Two couples went to see the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and associated museums. The place is well done, the house that has the lens displays is quite neat. Walked the 214 steps to the top of lighthouse with great views of the area. Very nice gift shop too.

Visited Lighthouse in October 2016. Nice visit, but more interesting for adults. In May 2017, went to visit Marine Museum. While it is small, kids loved this museum. Many fish to see, and turtles. While we were there, it was feeding time for the eels and stingrays. Staff help the children feed the stingrays. Also have birds. Fun for the... More

Well worth the half hour drive from Daytona Beach. There is ample room for parking and easy access to the lighthouse itself.

You can climb up the lighthouse and visit their 4 little museums. Nice views from the top. They have a small gift store on site.

When I heard about the lighthouse I thought it was just a lighthouse. However, I was wrong. Besides the main attraction which you can see from the inside, go all the way up (over 200 steps) and enjoy the view, you are to see 3 keeper's houses plus storage huts. You can also see the lighthouse lamps from past centuries.... More

This lighthouse is a little scary once you get to the top. It didn't seem windy on the ground, but get 175' up and it's a different story! It felt like you could fly away like a kite. This is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the third tallest in the USA. Great views of the ocean! Must-see!

This 175 foot lighthouse tower was completed in 1887 and has been restored beautifully. The grounds and museum include three original keepers' homes and their outbuildings, a lens exhibit building, oil storage building, pump house and nature walk. There's also a 20 minute video telling the history which is very interesting. This is one of the tallest lighthouses in the... More

This lighthouse and grounds are beautifully restored and maintained. It was fun and educational. The walk to the top of the light house is steep but the view is amazing!!
