We really enjoyed everything about the "self guided" tour. We could move along at our own pace, take pictures, and learn so much history. Climbing to the top of the light house was worth the sore legs the next day. The view is 360 degrees...More

Do not miss. Beautiful 19th century brick lighthouse and out buildings and keeper homes. Museum quality presentation. 203 steps to top observation deck worth time and exercise. Beautiful views of ocean and intracoastal waterway from New Smyrna Beach to Daytona Beach. Nice gift shop.

This one has a Fresnel lens, and they actually have pieces so you can see the thickness of the glass and look through it. The place is on the National register as a Historic Landmark. It's worth a visit.

What a pleasant surprise! Went there purely based on the sign on I-4. It is great! Lots of information and history. Well worth the admission and drive.

Even though it's a hard, hot, slightly scary climb up the lighthouse steps, it's totally worth it for the view from the top! The surrounding structures are a great peek into the history of the lighthouse and the area.

We had another activity planned for the day, but it was cancelled. When all was said and done, it was the best thing that could have happened. We ended up spending almost three hours touring the lighthouse and the museums which describe how the light...More
