Even though it's a hard, hot, slightly scary climb up the lighthouse steps, it's totally worth it for the view from the top! The surrounding structures are a great peek into the history of the lighthouse and the area.

This is a beautiful area for sightseeing, dining and outdoor activity. Spend at least 1/2 day here and 1/2 on the beach.

Simply wouldn't make a trip to the Daytona area without visiting this beauty lighthouse. This lighthouse has been a favorite of mine for over 50 years.
