What a lot of kite surfers

A beautiful beach, a bit windy so the sand kicks up but that's what makes it so popular with kit surfing

We had been in Cumbuco 12 years ago and there has been a lot of development. It is great for kitesurfing, but its very dirty! There is litter, garbage, garbage bags everywhere!! Its very upsetting to see no garbage being picked-up, beaches are dirty, no one cleans them, there are no garbage cans either. All around roads, highways there is... More

Not dangerous, close to Fortaleza airport (1 hour) so good for short stay before arriving or leaving. Can get bust on weekends. Not well looked after and quite dirty beaches. Buggies and cars drive on. Each which can be annoying as well as dangerous. Few life guards. Nice for long walks. Not a lace I would recommend for long stays.... More

One of the most beautiful fisherman villages only 30 min drive from Fortaleza. Great for kite, windsurfing and surfing. Full of young europeans and locals.

This is one of the best places in the world to go kite surfing. The beach is beautiful and there is always wind year round. Many places available to kite surf and you can also learn there if you have never done it but plan on spending at least 10 hours to learn it. The water is always warm and... More

Great beach for water sports and sand dune views and sliding. Rough sea most days for swimming though.

This area is well known as one of the planets best Kite surfing beaches. We enjoyed the day here watching some incredible surfers. I would plan a whole day in Combuco lots to do and see. There are a lot of beach vendors here, but to be expected at a public beach in Brazil.

Cumbuco beach has the white sand and warm waters of the Caribbean, the blue sky is dotted with white fluffy clouds and the beach is more or less deserted - yes you could be in paradise but.....the beach is used by the local Brasilian residents as a dumping ground - it's criminal to spoil such a location but you need...
