- Pe K1 contributionWas once great, now only the view is beautifulWe have been there again and again for years, meanwhile we have decided to look for an alternative. The infusions are now no longer infusions, just pointless "show towel shooting", where you feel almost no draft and you are always pointed out at the very beginning that you should be calm after all. Mood in any way: prohibited. There is no teeing off, a Wenik infusion, where homeopathic shooting is done with a birch branch, a sauna master alone "fragrances" the huge duke's sauna with a towel (could also be a washcloth). Water temperatures have been reduced with the noticeable price increase. The restaurant became more expensive, the offer is still not really good (3 chicken strips for the salad: 7,10 Euro additional fee). It's a pity, it was really our favorite thermal bath.Visited October 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 October 2024
- Resort10330026142Dingolfing, Germany3 contributionsToo expensive-only foreign sauna mastersUnfortunately, the daily price for sauna is already at 51 €-much too expensive for the much too small infusion saunas where you constantly have to enter 10 to 15 minutes before the start up to the sauna on the 2nd floor. What is extremely annoying is the almost exclusively foreign infusion staff that does not create a good mood, especially since the guests are soon 50% no longer German. Partly not even quite understandable-where have we arrived in the meantime ???You don't really feel comfortable in any way, especially since we drove once again to the trimini as we got no more space in our beloved monte mare. Very bad for the lot of money without real worth of rest to have driven home. The ges 360 km drive was not worth the tripVisited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 November 2024
- Gregor B1 contributionFor people who like to relax standingBetween the infusions you have to relax standing, as there are no free loungers to be found. The task of ensuring that loungers are not permanently reserved is delegated to the guest. Recovery looks different to me. Drinking fountains are not available. The pool bar is fenced with water stools, so you can't order anything if all stools are occupied. Storage possibilities for bags are hardly found. With these shortcomings, even the prettiest location is no good.Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 November 2024
- susanne h4 contributionsModestThe swimming pool is definitely not a place where swimmers find their joy. Too small, too full, too warm. The sanitary facilities are getting old. The small family bathroom as it described we reached through a door n outside is full at 10 people.Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 November 2024

One of the most beautiful saunas we've been to, but also the most expensive. The infuisons (aufguss) were really good though; unique combinations with a little show element, just great! The biggest sauna has an amazing view, and beautifully decorated. Each sauna has another atmosphere, all of them pretty . Too bad there was no reservation system (eg with coins), wich meant we had to get in 10-20 min early to get a place.
We had a great time, but expected more for the price. Since we paid for the swimming area, we also took a dive there. It wasn't bad, but felt a lot less luxurious than the saunas. The upstairs nude pools were great though, especially the outdoor ones. We did feel like the building didn't have a very cohesive design and that details seemed off here and there. This might be why we went home feeling we paid a little much, because some areas just didn't live up to the expectation the entry fee created.
We did really enjoy the possibility to dive into the Kochelsee, which had a great temperature when we were there. The staff was overal very nice and attentive, and the food was great. They didn't seem to care how you were dressed while dining, which made us feal at ease and relaxed. One last thing we enjoyed was the bar in the pool, what a nice way to end the day.

Were there again on Saturday 13/1!! As a regular guest, we have noticed that Trimini is becoming more and more popular.... unfortunately not always so nice for us because the relaxation potential suffers!! Fortunately, it's usually a couple of hours in the afternoon until early evening!! Another problem that is getting bigger and bigger is that visitors don't stick to the rules... which is very annoying!! The highlight for us that day was Bogu with Jacek's surprise infusion!! It was simply amazing!! The staff try hard and keep realizing that German is still the problem!! We still love coming back and the food is always consistently good!!

The Kristalltherme in Kochel was our favorite thermal spa to date because of the breathtaking location, the attractive facilities, the beautiful ambience, good cocktails, fine food and friendly staff.
This time, however, the stay was above all unpleasant. Because 70 percent of the visitors in the textile-free sauna area were wearing swimwear. It felt strange to be naked, which is not what you should really do when visiting a sauna.
What was even more unpleasant was that there were many families with small children in the sauna area. Here, too, the question arose as to whether you really want to walk around naked in front of the little ones.
Apart from that, the usual background noise of small children does not fit in very well in the "quiet areas". If the visitors do not see it that way themselves, it would be nice if the staff could kindly point it out.
We did not use the day ticket we had bought because we cut the visit short.

I would definitely recommend this sauna world! I love saunas and have visited many similar places, but have never seen anything like this before, absolutely breathtaking. Worth every penny. Many reviews here are bad due to the local textile free sauna culture. I still recommend giving it a go, you probably will never see the people that are bathing at the same time ever again (especially if you are just a tourist). All bodies, shapes and sizes are welcome and no one will place a look on your body, the rules are very strict and people respect them. It is very liberating and relaxing when you stop thinking about it too much. The amount of sauna seremonies per day is great, you should try at least one during your visit!

This is how you imagine bathing in two classes...
The guests who book the small package get cold pools and eat food that is absolutely overpriced given the ambience.
The other guests who take the all-inclusive package can enjoy the warm water, the whirlpool and the saunas and eat in a fine restaurant and not in a 5x5 sqm room that looks like a storage room.
So for me this thermal spa is an absolute no-go in terms of customer friendliness. I will go swimming there once and never again.

I have been a guest at the thermal spa for years, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends, sometimes with family. Sometimes we stay the whole day, sometimes 4 hours (often with an extension) and sometimes just 2 hours in between.
Afterwards it always feels like we have been on holiday for a week.
The infusions are very professional - with -real- scents (no artificial, cheap infusions), accompanied by beautiful music, and are carried out very gracefully and with great care. We are so enthusiastic that we definitely don't want to miss 4-6 infusions in one day.
The staff in the restaurant are also super friendly, we feel very well looked after there and served like very special guests. The food is excellent - we are vegans and can particularly recommend the salads and vegan dishes. We also had no problem getting coffee with oat milk :)
We give this thermal spa, the design, the variety, the infusions and the entire staff a full 5 stars. It should also be mentioned that we visit the adjacent swimming pool (which is included in the price) right before entering the sauna area. In winter in particular, we always enjoy ourselves by jumping into the ice-cold outdoor pool - and then going into the warm pool. Our whole body tingles, our blood flow improves - and it's great fun. Afterwards we enjoy a few slides down the beautiful, fairly long water tube slide.
The short stone slide up on the first floor is also a real treat.
***
To the management of the thermal spa:
We very much hope that the staff in the entire pool, thermal spa and restaurant area also receive the recognition and attention from you that they deserve. Because satisfied staff is - in the long term - the guarantee of success. For example, in the - once - very popular Erding thermal spa we have recently experienced a number of very unloving infusions, which make us suspect that the recognition and attention there leaves a lot to be desired. It was with a heavy heart that we decided to move our regular visits to the Trimini, even though some family members and many of my friends and acquaintances are from Munich.
It would be nice to see that the management of the Trimini thermal baths in Kochel took this into account - and that we would like to continue to be guests there.
I wish everyone a blessed time

After reading the many different reviews on various portals, we spent a whole day at the Trimini in Kochel last week.
In fact, the description of what is textile-free and when definitely has room for improvement. The sign at the entrance to the car park is ambiguous and there is no useful information in the entrance foyer. In the thermal baths, there are signs at all saunas and at the 12% pool stating that things are to be used textile-free.
So, to clarify:
The separate water park, which can be reached via the shared entrance, must always be used with textiles. The thermal baths are completely textile-free, except on Wed and Sun, when the pools on the ground floor can be used with swimwear.
Last week it was completely empty. There were a total of 5 (in words: five) guests in the water park, and a total of around 60 guests in the thermal baths.
The thermal baths are spread over 3 floors. The changing rooms, toilets and showers are on the lowest floor. On the middle floor there are several saunas, a small hammam and several pools and lots of loungers. A large pool with an "underwater bar" and, among other things, a soda pool and a pool where you can swim outside (35 degrees). Internal and external stairs and a lift lead to the garden, from where you can go into Lake Kochel in two places (naked) to cool off or to swim. Incidentally, you can also swim in Lake Kochel from the fun pool via a jetty.
On the upper floor there is the 12% salt water pool (always textile-free) and a large sunbathing terrace as well as the large Herzogstand sauna, from which you can see the Alps and Lake Kochel. Then there is a relaxation room and an extra bedroom above the outdoor sauna. There are showers everywhere in the immediate vicinity of the saunas.
Everything is immaculately clean, toilets, glass panes and floors are constantly being cleaned somewhere. The sauna masters are super friendly, do great infusions and give it their all until they are physically exhausted.
The food is very good and highly recommended. The catering staff are courteous and super nice. There is no sign of "needing renovation" or "shabby" - that must be from previous experiences.
It's just a shame that there are no proper toilet facilities on the middle floor (only in the catering area), so you always have to go to the lower floor. We think it's great that everything is textile-free, so you don't have to keep putting on your disgusting wet bathing clothes.
Why doesn't this work in other thermal baths?
Conclusion: We'll be back!

We took advantage of a family day and were delighted. The infusions were beautifully celebrated and you could still find a place just before the infusions started (without sitting on your neighbor's towel). Most visitors were naked (>80%) and all visitors were very relaxed. The food was above average for a thermal spa and the service was very friendly. You could have been bothered by the splashing around of a middle-aged couple when you were looking for something. The only thing that remains is the high price, which means we won't be regular guests here.

We actually like to go to different thermal baths and, as we are from Munich, we prefer Munich. Unfortunately, the quality of the service there has declined considerably in recent years. This may be due in no small part to the fact that the work of the employees is not really appreciated.
Friends told us about the Trimini. We have been there twice in a row and we are delighted. As we plan our stay as a real day of relaxation, we were particularly struck by the dedication, joy and friendliness with which the employees work here.
Starting with the reception staff, who explain in detail and in a friendly manner where to find things and how the stay and payment work. The same goes for the service staff in the restaurant, who always work to satisfy the guests.
A very special highlight, however, are the sauna infusions. They are carried out by real artists. Here you not only have the feeling of finally being able to smell the scents that are presented to you with humor and imagination, but also of being able to experience real artistic performances. The respective sauna master swings the towel and fan while dancing to really well-chosen music. If you don't work up a sweat, it's your own fault. (If you prefer it quiet, you can sweat in absolute silence immediately after the infusion)
And all of this in front of a magnificent mountain backdrop or in other beautifully designed sauna rooms.
These people deserve real recognition, because as we all know, the success of a business depends on its staff.
That's why we decided to buy a ten-trip ticket and drive a little further.
I do have a few suggestions though:
As we (3 people) are vegan and like to eat in the restaurant during the long day, it would be nice if there were more choice in the restaurant, especially in times when this topic should no longer be a foreign word. Both in the daily specials and in the coffee and cake area, even though the salad and chips are really delicious. Then we wouldn't always have to lug our food from home.
A toilet on the upper floor wouldn't be bad either ;-)

On 03.02.2025 I was in the sauna in the Trimini for the first time.
As a "sauna novice" it was a bit uncomfortable for me that pretty much all showers are so freestanding and you are virtually standing on the presentation plate. The same also applies to the entrance areas of the pools, as these are very well located from many (not all, but many) loungers in view.
But what really bothered me was the unfriendly staff. I was aware that there was a strict ban on mobile phones, but I did not know that you were not allowed to take pictures in the thermal baths. I never would have thought of taking a picture of anyone, but only used the phone for reading (especially since I was lying on a lounger that didn't give a direct view of unclothed people). Two employees of the spa, a young lady and a young gentleman, then came to me and addressed me so harshly that I felt very different. At first I didn’t even know what it was all about, as there was no mention of the phone. It was only when I asked what the problem was that it became clear what it was about. A friendly request and explanation in this regard would have been quite sufficient. The day was over for me. The "well-being spa" was a place of discomfort for me afterwards. After this incredibly unpleasant encounter with the staff of the spa, I will not set foot in there again.
