What a view as Mount Cook rises at the end of the lake. Glacial clear lake which stretches for miles. Stunning.

On our way from Oamaru to Christchurch airport to fly out of NZ in the evening we took the long route inland past Lake Pukaki. It was well worth it as the views over to Mount Cook are just amazing. We had missed these views...More

Lovely blue water on the way to Mount Cook. Very large lake with lots to do if you have the time. Water sports abound.
