Great to find out things to do and places to go. Also for information about road conditions (eg the gorge). Lots of postcards and souvenirs etc for tourists too

We stopped here to ask about the ferry sailings, across to the South Island. We were given excellant advice, saved ourselves some money by timing the trip right, and the helper found us very good accommadation for the night before. The motel was perfectly sighted...More
