The best bonefishing is in South Caicos. Even though Turks and Caicos is much smaller than the Bahamas, the bonefish density is higher and South Caicos has the best bonefishing in Turks and Caicos. I went out with a local guide, Timothy Hamilton. He is a fantastic fisherman and a very nice person. I recommend him highly. He doesn't have... More

Laid back island. We stayed at Eastbay and loved it.We stayed on a very windy week so no boats were going out to get fish.We did walk into Cockburn harbor from Eastbay.Very easy walk.Checked out the sights. There is a small convince store in town with some stuff to eat.Bring what you can though. One thing that I really noticed was the... More

Very Quiet Island. No restaurants to speak of. Grocery store has limited items. Expect to pay at least double for imported foods, (which is just about everything). NO night life. Bring a few good books, sunscreen and enough cash to pay for excursions.

My wife and I spent 5 fabulous days on South Caicos staying at the new Sailrock Resort. We toured town by bike, saw the flamingos and enjoed the gorgeous empty beach. Perfect place to get away from busy Provo for a few days. Highly recommended!

The Island was great and the people are friendly. Everywhere we went, people always welcomed us with their smile. Ate at the local restaurant Sunset Grill, which I strongly recommend you to go, we met Big Juice. He is a Health Inspector and one of the most well known people on the Island. He was so friendly and lovely to... More

This island offers friendly people, safety, with absolutely the most beautiful white powdery sand and crystal clear water. It reminds me of Providenciales about 20 years ago before there were so many large resorts built.

Francisco was amazing! He made my Mom and I feel extremely comfortable as first time divers. We felt safe and prepared while we glided past groups of Barracuda, sting rays and an assortment of fish. We had a great first experience. There is also opportunity to get your divers certification. Overall, South Caicos is the most relaxing and quiet island... More
