I recently moved to the local town of Sant Lluís and on a whim we chose to walk to Trepuco. The walk was peaceful and took us down back roads we would have never seen otherwise. Upon arrival we noticed a small car park that...More

Most of the archaeological sites on the island are really hard to visit if you don't drive. This one is not the biggest or best preserved but it is a pleasant 30/40 minute walk from the center of Mahon - you very quickly leave the...More

One of many talayotic historical sites but easily accessible from the main road unlike some. Just interesting to walk around, well signed with English notices, and take in the historical significance.

Once we had navigated the dog pooh leading to the site and all around the site, we did find this a fascinating monument. The orientation boards are well written and helpful. It is just a 15 minute walk up from the Mahon - Es Catell...More

Compact, atmospheric, quiet. A chance to get a feel for Menorca's prehistoric past. Easily accessible from Mao or Es Castell.

On our day of arrival on Menorca we didn't have time to do anything major so the circular walk to here from Maó centre then back via the inlet which separates Maó from Es Castell was ideal. You'll also see the real rural Menorca scene...More

Very good, located close to Mahon although the roads are a little windy. Good example of history plus point it is free

There are better sites on Menorca, but if you're in the area, go and see it. The talaiot is in very good condition however, despite being used as a battery in a siege.
