Wonderful little town

It's an wonderful little town in Minho. Old houses, a huge and wonderful park by the river with a river beach, that extends for miles along the river banks.

On our way to Ponte De Lima we stopped here for lunch at OMoinho for a nice lunch. Excellent service with good English menu and English spoken. Very compact old town near bridge where there was parking.

Quaint grey stone houses; a beautiful riverside park; several places to eat; and a lovely little courtyard... More

The bridge itself is an interesting single lane bridge with 8 major arches spanning a clean, but slowly moving river. The town has constructed a nice "water park" along the river, providing walking routes and enclosed river swimming... More

It´s a small town with lots of charm. The food is amazing, the green wine is divine and the river with the ancient bridge: lovely and quiet.
