It was a hike over the hill that worried us at first but was well worth it when we got there. It is a lovely nudist beach with such a great hippy feel. The taverna was playing great music from the sixties.

After a 30min walk you arrive to this charming beach. Red sand and great views plus some goats hanging around. Worth a one day visit. Bring food only drinks available on place. Worth the walk

The beach is for all people who like to enjoy the natural beauty. It takes a bit of effort to get to it, but it certainly pays off. Clean water, soft sand, ... enjoyment for all the senses

Decided to go to the red beach with my family and friends. From Matala you need to "climb" up to the hill, before having the chance to walk down to the see. (Pretty hard for young kids under 6/7 would say). There are two different...More
