It worth the climbing on the top to see the venezian fortress from the 17. century , but it is difficult a little bit. On the moment you reach the top, you forgot it, the view is magnificent in all the colors that you see,...More

I had rented a boat tour including visit to Gramvousa fortress and the beach. Fortress is 137 meters high above the sea and you have to almost climb using very old and almost destroyed stairs. So have comfortable shoes and always watch your steps. Have...More

This place worth visiting. Just wear good shoes. Several minutes, ...and you will see all these - the fortress, the seas, the water, it really has different colors, and high cliff. Do not miss this 'high' fortress if you are here.

We took the trip to Gramvousa on a very windy day. We loved each minute of it. Going there on one of the organized trips from Kissamos is just a little bit "touristy". Lots of people on the boat, lots to get off, lots of...More

We visited this site by taking one of the popular combined tours. The fortress and lagoon. Beautiful but very touristy. The bay is very nice als the view from the fortress. Would only recommend if you are close.

Super place. A great workout to go up and then after you can dip into refreshing super clear waters. Highly recommend if you are in west Crete.

We booked the excursion from Scaleta not really thinking the photos would meet the expectations. After a 2 hour car journey we arrived at the harbour and then began our 2 hour boat journey. The boat supplied food, water and sun umbrellas. When we arrived...More
