Perhaps the highlight of my trip to Corsica. A must-see if you love the outdoors and want to be awed by mother nature's beauty. Winding roads, countless panoramic views, having to stop in the middle of the road because of a pack of goats and a few wild pigs (LOL!) - there's much to love here.

We've been on the needles of the Bavella massif today. It was an absolutely stunning and magnificent hike through this amazing mountain site. We took the alpine version of GR20 to the top of the fourth needle, descended to the Ascinao valley and made our return on the main path of GR20. And now my advice: if you are physically... More

I cycled up the road from Sari Solenzara - long hard climb but worth the effort. The mountains are unforgettable and magnificent. There is great river swimming along the way.

These mountains in southern Corsica are amazingly dramatic. Sheer, precipitous rock spires or "needles" if you will. Like mini Dolomites. Awesome. Go hiking at the Col de Bavella if you are in the area too, amazing views of both coasts and more awesome peaks of the Bavella massif.

Arrive to parking early to avoid crowds and climb up to towers of Bavellas, coming back by forest (GR20).

Beautiful and odd looking mountain range, stunning views. There are rivers to for a nice refreshing dip or even canyoning.

Ce lieu, en montagne permet de voir à la fois la cote orientale et occidentale. La montagne est splendide . Un paradis pour grimpeur. You can see from the top, the wonderfull mountains, but also both side of the island and the sea around. It is a climbers paradise too.
