It looks impressive from the outside, especially at sunset, but inside was very dissapointing. But it definitly does a good job as a landmark...

This is an interesting building because of the mixture of architectural styles that don't quite clash. As a place of worship it was tranquil but not spiritual and I really don't like their "electric" alternative to lighting a candle in memory of loved ones.

Not the most impressive of Central American cathedrals but worth a quick visit. Free to enter. 100's of pigeons outside being fed watch out for poo!

The Cathedral in Santa Ana is quite beautiful, and worth a walk around if you're in town. We were there around Christmas Eve and the church was really lovely inside.

I love this church. It's being restored and they have done a great job doing this. You have to see it in person.

Easy to visit, meaning not a long, involved event. Can be done in 30 minutes. Well maintained, good views, with doing if you've got the time.

It was a sight to behold. After spending an hour the day before at the over-rated Church in Chiquimulas, this was indeed a intricately crafted cathedral. Unfortunately, the grounds and the entrance of the church was overrun with vendors. But, that's the norm at any attraction.

This was a lovely looking cathedral, quite different from the usual latin type you see. It was shut so I couldn't go inside but it was well worth seeing.

Nice church, at the center of Santa Ana town, just besides the central plaza and theater. The face is in white stone and the rest of the building in red bricks.

This is the nicest cathedral I have seen in Central America so far. We've been to Honduras & Guatemala. Beautifully maintained in front of a grand park.
