4 of us (my husband, my father, my daughter -who's 11-, and I) went out on the Nosara River kayaking with Brent. We had such a great time. Brent was smart, fun, and very patient with us as we clumsily maneuvered our kayaks at first. Visiting the black sand beach was a highlight for me, and my daughter's favorite part... More

An excellent experience with a very personable and knowledgeable guide. DK was a pleasure to kayak with and had a deep understanding of the fauna and flora of the region. Very laid back approach perfect for a late afternoon trip leading up to sunset. A definite "to do" while in Nosara..........

My adult daughter and I did a sunset river kayak tour of the mangrove with DK. He is such a fun character, just listening to him was worth the price of the tour! We thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge, commentary, and humor. The river is a beautiful bird festival and the sunset defies description. The mangrove is something out of a... More

Dk was an very informative, honest, and fun tour guide. We really enjoyed the afternoon sunset tour through the river near the town of Nosara. We saw lots of wildlife that DK pointed out, golden orb, mussurana snake getting eaten by a grey Herron, snowy egret, sand crabs and yellow trogen birds. I highly recommend the tour and look forward... More

We wanted to take advantage of the many activities in Nosara. We contacted DK to arrange a tour. We completely enjoyed this kayaking trip. DK is very knowledgeable of Costa Rica, Nosara, the foliage, birds and other wild life so we learned a lot as we went along. Easy pace with so much to see. Great experience and would highly... More

Drifters Kayaking offers a really good value, perfect half day experience for anyone (no experience required) visiting Nosara/Guiones. It was my 25th Birthday. Our guide and the founder of Drifters Kayaking, 'DK' was suuuuper knowledgeable, patient, funny and experienced. My husband and I joined two other clients in a 2.5hr trip on stable beginner sit on top kayaks up the... More

The owner, DK, took our family on a kayaking river tour which was a great, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. His prices were better than anyone else's, and he was great about pointing out features of the landscape and area that we would've missed. The three teenagers, 10-year-old, and I all really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks, DK!
