新東名上り線の小さなパーキングエリアで、ガソリンスタンドもコンビニもありません。特徴もあまりないですが、藤枝市の文化とも言える朝ラーメンがいただけます。フードコートで定食のご飯、お味噌汁がおかわりできるのも珍しいと思いました。

名古屋方面から都内に戻るときにこちらで休憩しました。日曜夕方に訪れましたが結構多くの車がこのサービスエリアを使ってました。
中には立派なフードコートがありましたが、少し驚いたのは「藤枝仲見世東通り」と称したお土産物屋があったことです。便利な場所だと思います。

こじんまりとしたパーキングエリアですが、トイレをはじめ綺麗にされていて快適でした。

ここはパーキングエリアなのに、フードコートやお土産売り場などあり、小さなサービスエリアという感じでいいところです。
しかも綺麗ですよ。

大体東京方面に出かける時、朝７時ごろに立ち寄っていました。そのためまだ店内を見たことがなかったのですが、今回が日中に立ち寄ったためゆっくり店内を見て周りました。小さなレストランやお土産品などありましたが、休憩に立ち寄るには、良いPAだと思います。小型車の駐車場は少し混みあっていました。藤枝PAには４月の中旬～下旬に駐車場横の藤枝が見事な藤の花が見られます。

浜松から静岡にかけては多くのPAがありますが静岡SAがやや混み合うためこちらを使用することがあります。東海道ということもあり宿をイメージした作りとなっています。SAでは天神屋がマッサージ機を提供しているのですがここでは解放された場所に設置されていたので気軽に利用できます。

新東名高速道路にあるパーキングアリア、入口の大きな提灯が目を引きます。トイレ休憩で利用しました、大きなPAではありませんがお土産、フードコートなど充実してます。

新東名のパーキングエリアには一般道からアクセスできるぷらっとパークが併設されている所が多く、利用し易い。ここ藤枝もぷらっとパークがあります。施設内のショップ藤枝宿駅では地元の特産品や銘菓、お土産が販売されています。藤枝の洋菓子店「ミラベル」の人気菓子【藤枝ほまれ】はお勧めです。

新東名を利用すると休憩のため必ず立ち寄っています。東京方面に行く時なので大体朝に利用していますので、レストランや売店は利用したことはありません。次の新静岡SAがパーキングまでの連絡路が長いので藤枝PAによるのですが、パーキングとトイレの距離が短いのが良いです。４月の中頃に行った時には藤の町藤枝らしく藤棚に藤の花が咲いていて目を楽しませてくれました。

浜松出張の帰りで、腹が減っていたので間に合うかと思い何か食べられるかと期待しましたが、タイムアップ。
まぁ仕方ないんですが……………
しかし意外と仮眠利用者が多いですね。
周りは静かですし(少し高台だけに寒さをかんじますが)適切かと思います。
