The bluffs regional park is a great nature trail in the middle of Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree. You start off with an incline that will give your legs a good workout and then a good balance of up and down the rest of the way. This...More

It's 2.7 miles loop is a good exercise. In morning or evening, its always enjoyable. Not so sure about the afternoon though. Starting loop in either directions is good but carry water if you are going for the first time. There are no water fountains...More

This is a very popular trail for after-work running/walking, so while it's fun, be cognizant of other trail users. It doesn't matter which direction you go, you're going to have big uphills, but I think CCW is probably the hardest uphill. Great views of the...More

I use to live in Lone Tree by the Bluffs. The trails are beautiful. Lots of wildlife and landscape. Beautiful views also. Great to take walks alone or with friends and family. Be sure to bring your camera and binoculars.

Great hike - trail is nice and wide. Its not real long but there are little trails you can take to make it a longer hike. One weird thing, though, on one of the offshoot trails to the south, there is a fenced-iin area that...More

I used to live in this area 10 years ago when there were far less houses and zero retail developments. So this last week when I visited Denver I decided to run this trail like old times. I was shocked at how everything has been...More

Beautiful, well-maintained trails for pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians. Great workout opportunities with the elevation gains, but also suitable for dog-walking (on leash) or hiking. Easy access from east or west sides, gorgeous views of Front Range, several miles of trails.
