The last few kms of drive through the village roads is extremely beautiful, especially during monsoon. The temple compound is clean and spacious with plenty of space to seat. A treacherous section of the waterfall just behind the temple is barricaded and is not safe to access, especially during heavy rains. There are smaller temples around the main temple that gets submerged or is inaccessible if the water level gets higher. Could not spot any bus service etc on the parking lot. There are some small chai taapris selling vada pav, biscuits, chips etc just outside the premises. Although there are plenty of dustbins, unfortunately some tourists still litter the river bank with empty bottles and plastic. …

Visited kondeshwar temple and near by places on 1st of july, didnt knew we have such a beautiful and amazing place surrounded by lush greenery and hills and waterfalls, its on the route of matheran, road to the temple is well maintained and u can enjoy scenery while on your way to the temple, single road all the way to the temple so there is no chance to go there by bus or tempo traveller anyway place is beautiful as u can think of, temple is surrounded by small shops where u get tasty vada pav biscuits chips etc, there are places where one can sit for long long hours to relax and enjoy the nature with open arms.... This is a nice place, but can be risky if proper care not taken or too much of risk taken. One needs to be absolutely careful when venturing into slippery areas, where you are not able to ascertain how deep is the water Enjoy the place, but take care
