If you are passing by, it’s worth a quick stop and read about it. It’s more interesting in visualizing it by google earth though.

The walk around the area was very nice with small canal, beautiful trees and even a nice coffee shop. However, it was not opened for the public so I could only walk around and take photo from outside.

You can approach the largest tomb in the world either from JR Mikunigaoka Station or from JR Mozu Station.

We can only view from outside and see mostly green. I just feel amazed by how big it is and that there are 3 moats.

Ancient tomb of Emperor Nintoku is the biggest tomb in Japan.You cannot get into it,but you can see how big it is from outside.I wish there are any tower to view from.
