Looks a bit run down. Things needs a clean up like a coat of paint and moss removal. Looks a bit unloved. Mostly fun for children 4-8 years. I feel a bit overpriced at $25 for adults and $20 children over 5.

The waterworks was such a fun day, lots of things to see and do, we will bring the family back. Not just for kids, adults can have fun too. A genuine coromandel hidden kiwiana treasure.

Guide books and info centers talk of this place as fun and full of creative water sculptures. Not true, creations are very simple and not very creative. Mostly it is about shooting water at others or yourself. Or pumping water up to see it go...More

We enjoyed our visit but thought the site could use a bit of a clean up and some of the attractions needed repairing.

We recently drove over to Coromandel Town, and up to the Waterworks. We enjoyed the many zany creations and information boards. We also tried out all of the rides, even the ones on the kids' playground. The adult zip line was a hoot. That was...More

The place is creatively designed complimenting the natural environment. Besides the fun water activities and playground for kids, there is a Swing and a flying fox for adults too. Nice place for a family picnic too.
