I think that whenver you visit this site, there are always pilgrims, so it is very busy. It is tranquil nonetheless, and you will see the fattest carp fish you will ever see in your life! Visited in May.

A clean park with benches and waterways with a ton of fishes. The best place in Urfa seems to be those gardens facing the lake.

The place is generally crowded with tourists, but still a must see if you are in Urfa. The lake is full of fish, and there is a story behind the fish that you can read when you are there.
