After a visit to this museum it becomes clear that, as a result of the 1953 flood in Zeeland, the Dutch are geniuses in water engineering. The films are educational (and available is several languages) but the order in the museum is unclear. Upon arrival...More

This was a great day out, we didnt know what to expect but it had so much to do. There was a 4D experience all about why the flood gates were built, it was very moving and powerful. A great eatery there too. Outside there...More

It is a large ground full of everything. We liked all the things related to the dam but the other sights were outdated..... maybe these are more for children?

Going there with young kids is okay to do. Lines aren't too bad, enough to do for even kids around 2 years old. Different shows, water fun, and okay restaurant.

Definitely interesting to get a better understanding of how the Netherlands deals with being at sea level, but very expensive (tickets are expensive & then they charge an outrageous 7€ parking fee on top) for what you get in exchange....

As a Dutchman I never had visited this place before, thinking it was just looking at some concrete related to the Delta Plan. But it was far more than that. Many exhibitions about the impressive Watersnoodramp, and the counteractions taken leading to world-known Delta Plan....More

we had expected to find more about the history of the delta works. For us only the 2 movies about the 1953 storm and the construction of the delta works with the small exposition was interesting. The outside part of the park is more for...More
