I recommend stopping here while bicycling around the island, because the views are amazing. Unfortunately, all the signs are in Dutch only so we couldn't learn much about the history of the place, but it was worth seeing it for the views from the top...More
Small but interesting explanation about the occupation of the island, the building and functioning of the bunkers during WWII which were used as observatories for air raids. There is quite some reading to do which is unfortunately almost only in Dutch. Limited opening hours
A bit of a climb to get there but worth it. Wonderful 360 degree view from the top - makes you realise how far you actually are form the sea. You can still explore inside the bunker. Interesting to see the construction - some steel...More

On top of the dunes is the bunker. Possible to go inside, but it's wet and dark, better bring a torch. But actually not much to see inside. From the top you have a great view in all directions, just amazing.
This Bunker is on Top of a dune, a small hill which you can walk up easily or with a bicycle a little bit tough.
