Cute & interesting ride towards the most east of the island “de Balg” with friends and their children. It took about 45 minutes to get there. In the distance we could see some seals on a nearby bank.

Going to the southern most end of island is comfortable in a wagon when with small children and cold outside. In Summer walking to Willems duin is better nature option. Some more commentary during trip would be welcome. Tour taken around 2 1/2 to 3...More

We didn't see any seals. This makes it an average trip and in my opinion not worth it. The driver didn't share anything on the area which is a missed opportunity. We just drove up and down. On a trip when visiting Ameland we saw...More

This is a great way to see the side of the island that is otherwise forbidden for visitors. The whole trip takes about two hours, including 30 minutes to walk around when you're there. Bring binoculars and you will likely see seals in the distance!

A trip to the island is not complete without travelling the vast, never-ending beach to the desolate easternmost tip. The 2 hour round trip gives you the impression Schiermonnikoog is the size of Cyprus. The charge is hefty at 13 euros for adults and 9...More

We have been coming to Schiermonnikoog since we were kids and never been to the far east of the island, so today we went! It cost €13 per person and you leave in a carriage behind a tractor from the villlage to the beach and...More

I like to see the endless beaches on Schiermonnikoog, never seen something like there. And it's fun to see the seehounds across the beach sleaping in the sun.

dress warm and keep your eyes peeled for 400 year old shells and driftwood from the ice-age.
