We visited Tamariu beach while our stay at Costa Brava and absolutely loved it. We went there on a week day in September so I do imagine it gets much more busier in weekends, especially in summer. Do bear that in mind if you decide...More

Beach of Tamariu is located in this incredible tiny town, in Costa Brava, in Girona Province, in Catalonia. In fact the beach is beautiful, but the Town is really wonderful. Is a typical town of fishers, where you can enjoy walking, relaxing, drinking a glass...More

This is a great little beach, very picturesque. Lots of small restaurants line the shore and streets, not even that expensive. Lots of families were enjoying the beach and younger people. Come early to ensure you can park within comfortable walking distance. We didn't have...More

Pretty beach with no raison d’etre. People are line dancing to really bad music outside our flat... shocked. If you like bad pub music come here ! Not sure how somewhere can be so destroyed by bad taste

It gets very crowded on Summer holidays and even more on weekends. The sand is white and clean..many families with children, many tourists from all over Spain and France.

This scenic sheltered safe beach area is perfect for families. The beach itself is gravelly but the bay is very scenic and the water generally warm, calm and clear. There is a grocery store nearby and a beachfront promenade with shady areas along with nearby...More

The colorful umbrellas, of the visitors, make this beach very pretty. It had a surrounding area of restaurants and a wonderful tree that provides shade, with benches, and you can play bocce if you bring your own set. There are various places to be in...More

Beautiful pebbly beach, if rather sore walking into the sea. Stunning scenery around the cove. Water is crystal clear and calm enough to bob around on an inflatable quite safely. It is busy, but it's a relatively small area and so doesn't feel crowded, but...More

This little town beach is quaint and has 3 different areas, the big area in front of the town, a narrow strip between 2 rocks to the right, and after that a small cove. The beach sand is mostly little rocks, for those who prefer...More

Yes. You can park your car in the village, it's less than 5 minutes by walk far from the beach. Watch out : it's overcrowded in medium and high season. :) Enjoy your stay there as much as we enjoyed it !
