A beautifully structured cove beautiful scenery and gorgeous water. Many places to eat, bring water shoes. Get there early bring your own chairs, there are none to rent. Parking is tougher the later you arrive.

We where there in April so very empty beach. I have seen photos in the heat of the summer and it seems to get too crowded. If you find yourself there take a walk to the left.... there is a fantastic rock formation.... 4/5

One of the best beaches of Costa Brava in a beautiful little village surrounded by the pine trees. Very good restaurants along the beach. You can walk to the others beaches through the pine forest of along the seaside. Like everywhere else, it gets a...More

I spent two weeks in Tamariu across the Easter holidays in April earlier this year, with my parents. Me and my Dad would spend every morning walking across the beach front and exploring across the rocks, early doors about 7:30am, and enjoy the views and...More

We spent two weeks in Tamariu and were at this beach most of the time. Easy parking (except perhaps in highest season)uphill along the main access road or in a large parking area in the trees about 2 blocks uphill. There are about 10 little...More

After Calella de Palafrugell, few minutes drive. Another amazing cove, smaller than Palafrugell’s beach, but as crystal clear.

You have the restaurants and the views in front of you. I walked the shore and I could say it offers pleasure and adrenaline, postcard views. You won't be bored, that is for sure. It's cramped in a way but accessible beaches are like that.

Small, uncrowded beach with showers and a diving board. Kayak rentals available as well. Seemed like a mostly locals kind of place.

What a beautiful bay, surrounded on two sides by pine trees and by a small village. The beach itself is coarse sand with some stones and rocks on the way in to the sea, but if you walk along the water line you'll find patches...More

The beach of Tamariu is a small piece of heavenly earth! It is a small sandy beach that features an amazing view with a beach and small houses built into the cliffy mountain- a breath taking combination. On the beach there are several restaurants with...More

By public transportation? I'm afraid it would take 3h. Collblanc - Sants- Girona - Palafrugell - Tamariu If it's by car , it's about 1h30 taking into consideration the traffic situation at departure. Hope this... More

Yes. You can park your car in the village, it's less than 5 minutes by walk far from the beach. Watch out : it's overcrowded in medium and high season. :) Enjoy your stay there as much as we enjoyed it !
