Great family waterpark for kids 10 ish and under
Great waterpark for smaller kids (mine are 6 and 8) bigger kids might be a bored after a while. Has river rapids, wave pool, kids water play area with loads of water jets and slides etc and separately 5 flumes which vary in speed. My 8 year old went on all of them ecen tthe "plug hole". Theres a 120cm min height restriction though not sure how strict they are on the height. We went on all the slides a few times - after lunch there was barely any queues. We stayed in a partner hotel (Relaxia Oliviania) so got cheaper rates and the all inc bands worked at the water park too.
Dear visitor, thanks a lot for your visit and we are glad that you get a great time with us. We hope see you again ;-) Regards

    Great day out
Definitely worth visiting, park is great fun we spent all day in it, plenty chairs around and umbrellas. Food very nice and reasonably priced. You never wait more than 5mins for a slide and we visited on a busy day, showers and lockers are available on site. We visited with a 14,12 and 8 year old and they we're kept entertained all day.
Dear visitor, thanks a lot for your review and your points, we are delighted you can enjoy with us. We hope see you again Regards

Great hang out place for the day
We, as a family of four loves the Aqua Lava water park. It is not a big water park but it has something for everyone. The hangout places where you have umbrellas and sun chairs available are relaxed. The slides are fun. Not too long or fancy, but they do the job. As they are fun, not too long or fancy. easily enjouable. Food and drinks are as you expect. The only thing we could comment as to be on the could be better side is the changing rooms and the lockers. But they work. so no hassle. We love spending a day once in a while when on the island in Aqua lava. The kids feel safe as well as we as there are plenty of lifeguards around. seems to be at every corner which is awesome.
Many thanks for your visit and your review. Is really pleasure for us know that our clients feel like at home with us. We hope see you again. Regards

    Great wee find, would recommend.
The cleanest water park i have ever been to, and very well maintained. We went after 3 pm on two occasions, both times where busy but far from crowded with plenty of comfortable seating avaliable. Attractions were perfect for my 9-year-old, though im not sure if teens would be satisfied with what's on offer. The wave pool was great and clean. No food allowed in the park. Only your own water. We didn't eat meals given the time of our visits, but a magnum ice cream was €3.20, so a bit on the expensive side. Life guards friendly and attenive. Well set up, and i felt safe leaving my child to their own devices as i could keep an eye on them without having to follow him around all the time.
Dear visitor, thanks a lot for your visit and we hope will see you again in your next holidays Regards

Aqualava water park Playa Blanca Lanzarote
The newest aquapark in Lanzarote, it is smaller. The most attractions are mainly for children - small pools, slides, river. One small pool with sea waves, runs each whole hour, for 10 min. Adults are necessary for patrol. a few tubes (tobogans), but pretty long waiting time. Quite enough beach seats, situated along pools, mainly on the sun. We bought tickets direct on entry gate, we have been controlled because meals and drinks - not allowed to bring own (wtf?). Prices of meals and beverages in Timi restaurant and small drink shop are pretty high, be prepared for this. Son was satified, so we were also. :D
Dear visitor, thanks a lot for your visit and we are glad that you and your kids were satisfied. Hope you enjoy the rest of your holidays in the island Regards

Great day out with the family
The park is small and great for young children, although there’s also a few slides for adults which were good fun for us adults. The park is very clean, lots of lifeguards that seemed to be really paying attention to what was going on. We spent the full day there from 10:00 to 17:00. We bought lunch there, food was tasty and affordable, although you could bring your own food in if you wanted to. I would really recommend this place to families with young children.

Amazing for young independent children, expensive for the accompanying adults.
Fabulous full day spent here with a water loving 4 yo. Daughter absolutely loved it here as she found a friend and they entertained themselves. For paying adults it’s expensive to sit and watch your child go on things you can’t enjoy with them. The wave machine was also ruined by a family allowed to play with a hall instead of making use of the actual waves! The photographers pushed too hard and took up a lot of our time trying to get posed shots.
We are delighted that your children enjoyed our park.Thank you for your comments, we will take them into account to improve our services.

Small but fairly priced and great for independent kids
We booked this before reading the reviews and felt the reviews were quite unfair. Yes they are a bit finicky on stuff like food (search your bags) and not allowing basic asks (groups arriving seperately as with our group) But all in all, we spent 4 happy hours going down the 5 slides, our 8 and 11 year olds were delighted with it. Bring a UV top though! Lockers are a bit pricey and prob not really necessary if you are in a big group No loungers but seats are comfy and coffee and beers were nice. We didn’t eat here. Arrived 10:30 to no queue. Wave pool was a bit disappointing but all in all a good trip. Doubt it would be fun with younger kids as that area was really small so can see why some reviews say it’s a quick visit
Thank you very much for your comments and your evaluation of our attractions and our facilities. We are delighted that you had a good time with us. We hope to see you again on another occasion.

    Fab day out
We had a great time when we visited the park. We paid on arrival and got 50% off the three kids entry fee which was a nice touch (if we had booked online this wouldn’t have happened). The large splash pool has loads of slides and play areas which kept our three entertained for hours. The eldest loved the four larger slides and lazing around the lazy river/playing in the wave pool. Lunch was ok. We opted for chicken burgers and hotdogs. Although the food was good, it was expensive compared to restaurants we had eaten in around the area and sadly you have no option to eat elsewhere unless you leave the park and you can’t take in your own food so it’s a captive audience. Our only slight niggle is that some of the flooring has lots of little bumps on it and some are quite sharp so worth walking round in flip flops rather than bare feet. Overall we had a great time and will visit again next time we are in the area.
Dear family thanks a lot for your visit and your review. We are glad that yoou enjoyed your time with us and hope see you again Best regards

    Fun Day
Great wee water park. Loved the Lazy River, Wave pool and Splash Bucket. All staff very friendly and helpful. All Inclusive for certain times if staying in hotel next door. Pools pretty warm too (Geothermic apparently) Happy days spent here.

The staff were really nice, especially the women. One thing the waterpark information says is that they have warm pools - but they don't. The price of the meals was a bit higher, but acceptable. Once and for all period :)

We went with our kids and grandkids to this all inclusive resort. The food was pretty good for buffet service but you have to pay extra for a decent cocktail. The main thing was that the children all had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave at the end of the weak. Amazing memories that we'll all treasure.

We were staying in Floresta at Puerto del Carmen and debating which waterpark to visit and chose Aqualava over Aqualand due to its advertisement of warm pools. The pools were all cold. Unfortunately, we went on the 3rd Jun, which was an overcast windy day and my 13 yr old spent most of the day wrapped in a towel shivering after trying out the slides, one go on each.
My 10 year old enjoyed it and didn't seem bothered by the cold. I was brave enough to go on a few slides which I enjoyed but had to keep wrapping myself up to warm up in between slides.
However, both said that the slides at Rancho Texas were much better.
I had originally booked through travel on world and chose to go direct on the Sunday but after realising the cost of the taxi, I phoned to change this to Monday with the free transport included. They changed this, no problem (probably to being not in peak season)
It was a decent day out, but we wouldn't return.

Thank you for your visit. The truth is that on cloudy and windy days the thermal sensation is very low when leaving the pools. Greetings and we hope you enjoy our wonderful island

While I had high expectations based on advertising, my experience was far from satisfactory for several reasons.

1. Run-down Facilities: Upon arrival, it was evident that the park is in a state of disrepair. Many areas appeared neglected, with visible signs of wear and tear. This significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of the visit.

2. Rude Staff: The behavior of several staff members was unprofessional and rude. Instead of being helpful and courteous, they were dismissive and unapproachable, which further detracted from the experience.

3. Inappropriate Music: The music played throughout the park was often inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. Some of the lyrics were explicit and not suitable for children, which was concerning. (The thong song and regulate to name a few)

4. Cold Pools: One of the main reasons for choosing your water park was the advertised heated pools. However, the water in the pools was uncomfortably cold, making it impossible to enjoy the facilities as promised.

5. Unsafe Bus Driver Behavior: During the transportation to and from the park, the bus driver was observed texting while driving. This behavior is extremely dangerous and unacceptable, putting the safety of all passengers at risk.

Given these issues, I am very disappointed with the overall experience at Aqualava. I would not return, nor recommend this to anyone.

It was very quiet when we arrived but soon became busier, although still quite quiet.

The site is really small and we had already had enough by 12noon. The wave machine didn't turn on u till we were just leaving too.

The staff all seemed miserable and not very engaging. I saw too males giggling and checking out some of the females around the area. Not professional and didn't make me feel confident that they could help my son if needed.

Really not worth the £67 (or £90+ of booking through tui) to get access.

We come to Lanzarote every year but won't be returning to this park again. Much prefer rancho texas and its water park

The main flume slides are not properly managed for safety and so my child was hit in the back by a large male adult as they allow people to enter the slide without knowing if the last person has exited. Not good at all.
Overall Lanzarote needs some investment in terms of the leisure activities
Everything seems to have been built more than 25 years ago in Playa Blanca area at least and is now out of date/old/needs replacing!

Thank you for your view. Our park is 12 years old and we always ensure that the attractions comply with safety regulations. Our lifeguards set certain times and if users do not pay attention, it is logical that accidents will occur. Playa blancaIt is very beautiful and maintains its charm even with the great growth of recent years.

2 water parks to choose from and we chose this as its was a lot closer to where we stayed. 10 min cab compared to nearly an hour for the other water park.
We had 2 adults, 3yo and 14yo. I was a little nervous due to the very mixed reviews but both children were very keen to go.

We arrived just before 11am. No queues at the entrance and lockers easy to use and paid for by card.
We secured a few chairs with our towels and a bag with water bottles and suncream in. Lots of chairs and parasols available. There is a smoking area near the wave pool so we avoided that.

The water is warm ish. Warmer once you’re actually in and moving around. Didn’t find the main pool cold and all of us enjoyed it. It has a gradual slope so it nice for you her children to sit and splash at the shallow end with some water fountains. It’s not a large pool but a generous size and enough space to play and swim.

The octopus pool is good for young children. Very shallow water at the end of the slides so no risk of small children being submerged when they come down. My 3yo enjoyed all the small slides and was very happy going between there and the main pool.

The lazy river isn’t large but it’s still fun and lots of floats available. I found the water a bit chilly but was still comfortable floating around. A few waterfalls in places and easy to get on and off via steps at multiple locations.

There are 5 slides. 2 with inflatables only and 3 without. The inflatable slides are really great and my 14yo loved them. They are quite fast and there is a big pool at the end of the slides. Lots of life guards around to ensure everyone was safe. Pools are quite salty and googles can be worn on the slides. We often did tip up off the inflatables as we went into the pool and found the salt water harsh on our eyes so were thankful googles are allowed.
The regular slides without inflatables are slower but still fun.
We were caught out by the Aqua Bowl I think it’s called and we named it The Death Drop as unless you actually check out the slides at the bottom before you use them (we didn’t) you don’t realise this slide actually goes into a giant bowl which you swirl around in for a few seconds before you drop thru the middles into a deep cold plunge pool! This was by far our favourite slide and we went on it many times!

We did tag team with the children as 3yo couldn’t use the larger slides and 14yo wasn’t interested in the Octopus Pool.

We all enjoyed the wave pool which goes every hour.

Food was as expected, chips burgers pizza hotdogs. Pizza is great and they cater for gluten free. GF pizza was fantastic!

All in all a fantastic day! We left around 4pm and the entrance staff booked us a taxi back to our hotel.

Please remember this is not Florida or Tenerife which has amazing water parks. But this was definitely a fun day for us and our children and we would 100% return

We went as a day out as a family consisting of 4 adults and 4 children (7,6,2,1). The park is great for younger kids (under 12). Plenty of seats. Our two older kids didn't stop all day going down the slides and in the pool. The food was more snack type such as pizza etc but when you are running about all day you don't want a big heavy meal. The place was clean. Would go back if I come back to Lanzarote.

The main problem is the lack of inflatable rings which are required for the lazy river and some on the slides.
The lack of these makes it a free for all with people hanging onto them for dear life and snatching them away. Needless and a little insulting considering the price you pay to enter.
Only water allowed in, food is removed (we didn’t bring any) however this then forced you to buy overpriced poor food on offer here.
Two of the slides are ok. The others are slow. My partner cut his hand on one of them.
Very underwhelming and we would not return.
I would say suitable for 12 and under.

Thank you for your visit and your comments. Our lifeguards always try to distribute the rings but some users do not follow the instructions because it is difficult for us to have floats for each visitor since if that were the case we would have great difficulty in having so many chairs and umbrellas. We are sorry that your companion was cut. We hope you enjoy the visit.

We expected the water to be warmer than it was as it was advertised as volcaniclly heated. We had 3 small children. Someone must have forgot to turn the volcano on when we were there. This water park would suit younger/ pre teen children not really for older teens or adults as it was small enough with 5 slides, lazy river and wave pool.

Our pools are heated around 22 - 24 degrees but are external pools not jacuzzis, and if the weather is cold outside your body feeling will be cold, anyway we hope you had a nice day with your family.
