My husband is not a cook, and indulged me by agreeing to take a cooking class while celebrating our anniversary in Italy. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Besides the wonderful food we learned how to prepare, the truly great part of the experience was going to the farmhouse and learning about Tuscan family foods... More

My daughter and I were spending holiday together in Florence and took a day trip to Siena. My daughter booked the cooking class in Nonna Ciana's home for the two of us. Nonna and her assistant and translator, Heather were wonderful teaching us about Italian cooking, pasta making and culture over the course of approximately 3 hours. My daughter is... More

What a wonderful time cooking with Nonna. She clearly loves people and to cook. We had a fun all English speaking group and Heather did an excellent job of translating for Nonna. If you enjoy authentic Italian cooking, good fun and good wine then I would highly recommend Cooking with Nonna!

Signed up for this cooking class a couple months ahead of time. We weren't sure what to expect. We thought it would just be the 4 of us (family with 2 kids 12 & 15) but we were together with a family of 6 and it was fabulous! We were greeted warmly by the entire team- Nonna Ciana, Heather, and... More

My wife and i had a day with Heather and Nonna Ciana for our honeymoon and just loved the experience. Heather is great at translating and be prepared to learn heaps about anything cooking/local tuscan history from Nonna Ciana. We stayed there for over 3 hours but by the end didn't want to leave!

Our review is a little overdue, but my wife and I had the pleasure of joining a cooking class for lunch back in early October 2016. Everything from the hospitality of Nonna and her cooking team members, to the authentic setting of being in Nonna's kitchen and sitting down at the dining room table to enjoy the fruits of our... Nonna Ciana's cooking class was absolutely wonderful! She and her staff are very knowledgable and experienced; they provided great insights and information on the history, techniques & alternatives as we made the different dishes on the menu. We were a group of 6 adults joined by a family of 4, all with varying levels of cooking experience. Everything was well... More

Four of us took this class. Nonna Ciana is charming and clearly a skilled chef. Heather did a great job assisting and translating. We spend four hours. This is not a step by step class designed to turn you in to a chef. Instead, you will learn hands on how to make exceptional pasta from scratch. Nonna Cianna translators/assistants watch... More

Nonna Ciana's cooking class was a highlight of our 2 weeks in Tuscany and Umbria. It was everything I hoped for plus more. We made pasta from scratch. We learned what kind of flour to use and the names of various shapes of pasta. It was all very interesting and I have used her recipes and tips since we got... More

What an awesome class! We joined 6 other couples and made a totally unforgettable meal. This was the best meal that we had over our 7 day trip traveling in Italy. The only problem is, are we actually going to be able to make it like Nonna did? Challenge accepted! Don't miss this class, this is a must do!
