Why?
Because the best way to visit Notto is to stroll its main avenue, Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, and as most of the main attractions of Notto are located along this avenue, you'll probably, if not certainly, pass by this piazza and its church, Convento San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata.
You'll then stop, admire it, take a picture or 2, and then go on.
Someone here mentioned the golden color of Notto, and he is perfectly right.
Golden is what Notto is, especially in Summer or whenever the sun shines, which is almost always.

Lovely place! One of the most beautiful places to just sit and relax. The view is nice and the atmosphere of Noto is lovely!

It is not so much what is in Piazza Immacolata but what is around it, structures in the golden coloured tufa stone of Noto, this is what makes it an attractive little piazza. On the left is the lovely three tiered staircase leading up to a terrace, also to the left is the beautiful tower of Monastero del Santissimo Salvatore. On the terrace is a statue of the Virgin, with the façade of San Francesco all'Immacolata behind her, this is the backdrop above the piazza. The piazza itself has a small fountain in the centre of a child and sea creature and there are places to eat as well.

The piazza is on the main street of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, so no need to seek it out.
