Quiet sandy beach with a couple of snack bars which includes fish bones which was nice for lunch. The sunbeds and parasol are five euro which is very cheap.

If you prefer to be away from the crowds then this is the beach for you. Walk from Xi beach to the left, dipping in to the sea to get around the peninsula (only knee deep), and just keep walking! There are a few opportunities to hire parasols and sunbeds (8€ per day) on this beach, but I'd highly recommend... More

Red sand! That says it all! It is a beautiful beach, with crystal clear water and oh so colorful and eye-catching! It's not really deep for a long distance which makes it perfect for children. It's a very long beach so even during August which is high season, you won't feel it overcrowded. There are sun beds and umbrellas that... More

Cheap umbrellas, nice restaurants in the neighborhood (especially Ostria tavern and Fishbones terrace), good to swim for children, nice soft sand.

Beautiful beautiful beach and sea - can go out 50 ft or so before the water becomes too high to walk - sandy beach and gentle surf

This beach was one of our favorites, because of Fishbones restaurant and also the fact that it's sandy and kids could play here all day long :) a lot of locals here which in my eyes is always a good sign and please don't miss the taverna Fishbones, they have wonderful food.

Megan's Lakos beach is one of the nearest ones to the town of Lixouri. This beach is appropriate for kids since the water is shallow. It is also very clean and much quieter than the neighbouring Xi beach

If you want a quiet beach this is the place to go. Amazing restaurant Fishbones that does drinks lunch dinner and has chairs and parasols. Also plenty of room to go where you cannot see anyone else and so you have your own bit of beach. Very safe for swimming.
