Quiet little town on the Lahn river, with it’s own medieval castle, as expected for this region. Beautiful scenery, half-timbered houses, 15th century stone bridge, everything together for a nice day out in the countryside.

It seems very strange that this castle is known much less and has much less visitors than others. It is located close to the train station and the intercity bus stop - you should pass literally two buildings, a small square, a beautiful stone bridge...More

What a beautiful view, the hill top castle that dates back to the high middle ages and overlooks the Lahn river. even though beautiful to see during the day, I really enjoy photographing the castle at night attempting to see it at night.

We are visiting friends in the area For a short field trip we went to castle Problem is that is closed in the winter- you can't go in. Was able to walked the street and take some pictures in spite of some rain Enjoyed myself...More
