I visited for the first time in several years.
It's good that the number of shops has increased, but they stopped distributing paper floor maps, so I have no idea where each shop is. The structure is already confusing!
They say to look at the map online on your smartphone, and while you might be able to see it reasonably well on a tablet, there is a limit to how much you can enlarge the map on a smartphone, and most of all, it's impossible to understand at all which direction to go to find each shop while looking at the whole picture.
It may be a waste to have so many of them at the entrance, but I wish they would hand them out to people who come to the information desk and ask for a map (I couldn't get one even at the information desk). It doesn't look so good now...

We are great factory outlet fanatics and have been to at least 6-7 in Japan. Most factory outlets are located very far out of the city, and usually not possible to reach without a car. So even at the start of our trip to Jazz Dreams Nagashima, it was a pleasant surprise that it was only a 40-minute direct bus ride from Nagoya Station.
At the Meitetsu bus terminal at Nagoya station, the tickets are bought from the 3rd floor. A return ticket is 1900 yen, as compared to a one-way ticket which is 1060 yen. Go up to the 4th floor bus bay 22 to board the bus. The timetable shows that the buses leave quite frequently, every 15-20 min in the morning and every half-hour in the afternoon. Vice versa, return trips from Nagashima to Nagoya are more frequent in the afternoon. The bus arrives at the South entrance to the outlet.
The outlet is spread out over a wide area on 2 floors, with a smaller South area and larger Parkside area. Many of the sports goods outlets are located in the south area, while the luxury brands are in the centre of the parkside area. There are about 240 shops, so there will be something for everyone ! All the usual designer brands are here, with some unusual ones like Lego and FrancFranc.
One difference between Jazz Dreams Nagashima and other outlet malls is that they have a larger proportion of local Japanese brands, which are usually not exported. This makes it more likely to find unique clothings or designs, One shop (George's) is a local cutlery and household store.
There is a food court (Nagashima kitchen) on the 2nd floor, but they have also brought in several restaurants which serve Nagoya specialities, so if you didn't manage to eat misokatsu or kishimen, their famous stores are also here in Swing court at the 1st floor of the south area.
All in all, a great way to spend a day. If you have another day, the roller coaster and water theme park are just next to the outlet mall as well !

Place is huge , though 2 storey high, it has many wings and prices are of good bargain. Remember to bring your passport and if need to use credit card, the name must match the name on passport to claim for tex exemption.

All the exit routes out of the parking lot leads to one street. Getting out of this place takes more than one hour.

Been to osaka, tokyo factory outlets but this one in nagoya called mitsui outlet is not bad. If i have to rank it i will give nagoyas mitsui #1 followed by gotemba in tokyo and the 3rd rinko in osaka. Shops are well mixed, placed and located. It has our fave brands. Kudos!!

the bus stop number 10 in Oasis21 Bus Terminal goes straight to the Outlet Park! easiest way to go there...shopping for the whole day with all sorts of branded names, water park is just beside the outlet mall and also the rollercoaster park if you have time, it would be nice to stay overnight here and enjoy all the facilities including the spa next door!

Easy access via jr train from Nagoya jr station to kuwana station+bus from kuwana station(bus stop at no.2) to nagashima only takes 35 mins(510 yen-1 way)
A lot of shopping outlet and roller coaster theme park and spa land just beside this outlet.
Can spend 1 whole day in this area, worth to pay a visit if you are in Nagoya city

There was a huge range of shops and all had a good selection including the big luxury brands. No queues to get in unlike the luxury outlet mall in London (Bicester Village) and it was nice to go around and not crowded.
We got the bus from Nagoya station. It was easy to find and straightforward to buy tickets.
Gucci had a nice selection of items. They had good the classic large GG belt at a very good price compared to the UK price, also I doubt you would find this in London.
You can go to the tourist info centre and pick up the map/info booklet which has a pink box stating if you show it at the counter you can get a voucher booklet. This entitles you to discounts at some stores including Coach and Agnes B. Obviously there aren't vouchers for the luxury brands.
There are facilities for families. It seems quite well thought out.
I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area.

If you have limited time just save your energy and money and shop here. There are packages for bus and tickets at the Meitetsu bus center in Nagoya or airport. We stayed at hotel hanamikatzu and it was very Convenient. Most of the shops are adult clothing, the kiddies shops are relatively less comprehensive. Compared with other Mitsui outlets perhaps the choices in shops like RL or GAP are less. Nevertheless it was very pleasant and we had a great time.

I have visited many outlet malls in US, Canada etc and Mitsui Outlet is the best I have experienced so far. There are 300 over shops including higher level brands like Gucci, Givenchy etc. Definitely worth a visit! Please allocate a whole day as the place is about 50 mins by express bus from Nagoya city.

Hello. I am not express bus to Mitsui Outlet Mall. But i need to take the bus after I finish shopping, to go to Nagoya Station. Are bus tickets sold at the Mall?
Written 23 November 2018
I believe you can buy a one way ticket when you board the bus from Mitsui Nagashima Outlet Mall (Nagashima onsen stop)
