この季節だから箕郷町に梅を見に行きました。関東平野を見渡す丘の斜面の１０万本の梅の木は、白梅も、紅梅も、力強く咲いています。３月末が見ごろのようです。

ナビで梅林公園をセットすると、おそらく蟹沢地区に誘導されると思う。善地と蟹沢の間に橋があり、その橋の蟹沢側にちょっとした駐車スペースがあるので、そこで橋からの眺めを見るのが一番素晴らしいと思う。蟹沢周囲には300円の駐車場多数あり。いくつか出店（やきそば、焼きまんじゅうなど）も出ている。花はきれいだったが、眺望という点では、河津桜も咲いていた善地のほうがよかったかもしれない。

3時過ぎに伺ったためか、駐車場にも余裕があり、ゆったりと梅を鑑賞することが出来ました。少しですが、蝋梅もあります。
奥の売店で購入したお饅頭、生地がもちもちで美味しかったです。
ただ、杉の木密集している場所のかなり近くなので、花粉症の方は万全の体制で臨んだ方が良さそうでした。

メイン会場は蟹沢地区（みさと梅公園）と善地地区の２つです。
みさと梅公園と付近の散策をしました。
公園よりも周囲の道路に点在する梅の方がよかったかな。
白梅、紅梅、枝垂れ、蝋梅など色々な種類の梅が楽しめました。
道路沿いが梅林になっている部分も多いので、
ゆっくりドライブしながら車の中から観光するのもありかもしれませんね。
300ha梅10万本ということで、関東一の規模だそうですが、
ちょっと広すぎて、まとまり感がありませんね。
ちなみにデズニーランドとシーを合わせて100haですので、その3倍になる計算です。

二つ会場がありますが、河津桜とのコラボが楽しめる善地会場に行ったら、散策路は奥（北西の方）まで足を伸ばすのがオススメ。白梅だけですが、榛名山とのセットが絶景です。急な坂もなく年配の方でも大丈夫でしょう。
あと、蟹沢会場方面に車で向かう途中にも絶景ポイントがあります。数台は駐車できる場所があるので、そこに駐めて歩道を少し戻ります。

群馬県の安中市や箕郷町では、梅の生産が盛んです。これくらいの時期になると、梅林がとてもキレイです。梅も購入できたりします。

群馬の三大梅林の一つの箕郷梅林。
みさと梅祭りの看板をたどり、
里山を登りました。
梅の木の多さに圧倒され、綺麗に整備された梅畑を散策。
山の中腹にあるため、景色も楽しめました。
梅の花はもちろん、河津桜も満開だったので、とても楽しめました。
お弁当を食べながら楽しんでる方々もたくさんいらっしゃいましたよ♪

梅の見ごろの時期にぜひ足を運んでみてください。
広大な丘陵に広がる梅林は一見の価値ありです。
観光シーズンの最盛期は臨時バスもあるようですが、基本的には車（かタクシー）でないと行くのは難しいと思います。

高崎市になる箕郷梅林に行きました。善地会場と蟹沢会場で梅まつりを実施中でした。
どちらかというと蟹沢会場のじょうが売店や土産物店がたくさん出ていて賑わっていました。梅林は白梅が中心ですが広大な敷地一面に梅が咲いていて壮観でした。売店では梅を使ったジャムや加工品が売られていてお土産にいいです。
