This beach is located slightly away from the city and can be visited if you have your own vehicle. Autos and other public transport is not available. There is nothing special about this beach. It can be visited during Sunset as it offers a great view (unlike Om / Half-moon/ Paradise beach as these 3 beaches don’t face west). There are lot of eateries that offer reasonably good food. Water sports are available but at slightly higher cost. The beach is not very clean though, but still manageable. The best beach according to me to relax is the north part of Gokarna Main beach. A persons need to cross the bus stand and move towards north. Any entry to beach after that gives more secluded and clean part of the beach.

Food: Expensive and average
Beaches: Little dirty (Not as dirty as Gokarna Main Beach), restricted and crowded
People: Unfriendly, unless you splurge
Stay: Expensive and average
Revisit: Definitely not if you are a solo traveller
Recommendation: Good spot for family trips (1-2 days on a weekend) Solo travelers please avoid! Overall avoid Gokarna as a whole. Not worth it.
However if you have ended up at Gokarna before reading this then follow the below measures:
1) Rent a scooter: I did a lot of hiking and walking around. With the weather it's not advisable for all. Especially since the routes are hilly. Rent a scooter and negotiate it down to 400-500 rupees per day.
2) Pack some healthy snacks or food: I always pack my breakfast of oats, dairy whitener, and dry fruits whenever I am on a backpack trip. This saves you a one time meal which otherwise you will have to shell out exorbitant amounts for.
3) Head to Paradise Beach: This is a private beach which allows camping by paying a charge. I am recommending this to those who would like a swim without any interruption from the local authorities. I am not sure you would want to camp here.
4) Carry your essentials from town: You will not find many shops around the beaches. Carry all your essentials from the town.
5) Don't expect any nightlife: There is not much nightlife except for dimly lit shacks serving food and alcohol until 12 AM. There is no clubbing culture here, so please have no expectations.

Best beach in Gokarna...
Amazing sunset views.. Great place to relax.. Location and views are better than Om Beach..
You have to walk 8 - 10 minutes from the parking lot to reach the beach.. After sunset there is no proper street lights or lighting arrangement along the pathway..
Popular among the foreigners..
Many Shacks and resorts around the beach..

This beautiful beach is a must visit in Gokarna. In all beaches that I visited, I loved this the most. Its adjacent to Gokarna main beach and Om Beach.
Getting there we need to take the stairs from the parking lot which is a steep descent/ climb. But the view and beach is so so worth it.
Beach is clean compared to other beaches in the area. It has a lot of restaurant options to choose from, though I would recommend you eat elsewhere.
It offers beautiful panoramic sunrise and sunset views.
One can just relax on the beach and take a dip in the cool water.
Though it does get pitch dark and lonely after sunset.

This Beach has everything like peace, events, music, food, alcohol, freedom almost everything. I think you can spend days on this beach without any materialistic thing. The best thing is to spend an evening here when he sun is setting just infront of you leaving you mesmerized.

The beach is amazing and I stayed at Namaste Yoga Farm and did yoga two times a day. Wonderful experience and so refreshing to spend relaxing time in Kundla.
The only problem that I found in the beach is the watersports which kills the beach spirit and the spirit of the land. In that respect the Gokarna main beach is in a better position. New commercial establishments are coming which will also cater to mass tourism and drove the foreign travellers away from this place.

Visited it again after 3 or 4 years. It is my favorite beach in Gokarna. Unlike the Gokarna Main Beach and the Om Beach this beach did not have too much crowd. Also the water appeared a lot calmer here and we can swim peacefully amongst the gentle waves. The water sports options here were limited but we were happy to see kayaking options here. Also there were enough shacks in this beach but the food and liquor prices were on the higher side. At night the beach turned into a party hub for groups. People even arranged for bonfire and danced around which looked fun. I have a feeling that Gokarna is best travelled with a group and Kudle Beach seems to be the best to spend an evening.

I am not a hippie. I did not think that hippies still exited. I was not 100% sure that they ever did. Come to Kudle and you will love it if you are a hippie or want to be one. Even if you are not you will think that you have stepped into a time machine and arrived in the 60's apart from the addition of tatoos.
Great people watching and I did feel a bit pedestrian. Group singing and kambusha and an abundance of beads and dreads.

A beautiful beach spoiled by Humans. Unkept, dirty, full of stray dogs, Shacks dumping their kitchen waste and sewage into the beach, plastic bottles and beer bottles thrown around. Why the state or local governments make an effort to keep these places clean?

Really enjoyed my morning runs here. Not a very large beach, and with far lesser no if people around as compared to Goa. The approach involves a bit of mini trek which could be a put off for people traveling with elderly and/or small kids. Also not very sure how safe the trek would be after nightfall. Otherwise, a nice sweet place.

This is monsoon time in India and you can expect a lot of rains. And if it rains, there would be no beach left as the water comes till shore. Good time will be after Mid-August

Namaste hotel is the best option. Please don't even consider kudle international beach resort. Which by far the worst hotel one can stay at.

Is there a viewpoint from where disabled people can get a glimpse of the beach? Is it accessible by someone who can't walk much? Suggestions please
Written 1 February 2019
Yes. There is a restaurant white elephent from there you can get a view of kudle beach. Also when you go kudle beach to om beach by road, you will get many view point from where you can see kudle beach.

May is not a good time to travel to Gokarna as it will be Hot and Humid. If you prefer to stay in the resort and chill out then it does not matter.
Written 18 April 2018
Despite the summer sun, the high outcrop of the hills will keep the beach in the shadows all morning. That means Gokarna and the even better bay of Kudle beach will be in the shadows.
The morning walks and yoga routines by the beach dawn to 9 am will still be possible. As others suggest an AC room or a well ventilated room is a.must. the up market Kudle beach resort has an excellent pool. Many of the beach shacks have leafy surroundings and you will be still able to enjoy a pleasant lunch by the beach.
since when did Indian summer stop an Indian from traveling any where. enjoy.
