A 15 mins drive from Mahabaleshwara Temple, Gokarna. After parking the vehicle, one may have to walk down through stairs. But its worth going. Its a beautiful beach in the shape of Öm"in Hindi with a lot of rocks. There are a few restaurants over there but not suitable for budget travelers.

The beach doesn't have much waves, and hence, just looks like standing water. Not much to enjoy. And, boating costs a lot.

This is the most thronged beach among tourist in Gokarna. Has a nice scenic view & also connects Paradise Beach & Half moon beach. You can take a boat ride to go to those islands. But this boat operators wont let u get down on the beach, they will just take you for a round. Watching sunset from the small... More

This is a good beach but pretty crowded throughout the day. If you are looking for some privacy with your partner then this is not the place. Maybe you can go to some far end of the beach for that. Trekking to the beach was great. There's a temple on a hillock nearby. Go up there and you will get... More

Om beach is probably the most crowded beach in Gokarna. A friend on mine and many other people have drowned in this beach,so it helps to be careful. The beach is lined with shacks, so you can go grab some food or some drinks by the beach. It is a good places to click a few photos and enjoy the... More

Looks good. Found it a lil crowded in the afternoon. Trekking from Kudle beach to Om beach was a great experience. And totally worth it when we got there.

It's definitely the cleanest beach of the three beaches in Gokarna, ie, Gokarna beach, Kudle beach and Om beach itself. The crowd was pretty decent. The sea water looked clean and blue. The waters were shallow too, so taking a dip didn't seem very dangerous. There are huge rocks where you could relax and watch the sunset.
