We waited to watch the clock in action with the tale of Romeo and Juliet. We stood opposite the clock but traffic noise made it hard to hear the music and impossible to hear the words. A set of speakers on the opposite side of...More

I'd read various brochures about this so we rushed to get there for the 7pm after arriving in Stratford. Takes 5 minutes, was entertaining, a scene from Romeo and Juliet, an unexpected delight.

Stopped in this quaint little town, history placards all along the street. Well written articals. Taranaki we will be back.

This is a glockenspiek tower, but there were limited times for hearing it, so sadly we did not hang around in Stratford to hear the clock. The tower itself is certainly intersting and dominates the high street

Not worth making a trip to see, but if you're passing at the right time, have a laugh at this Glockenspiel clock tower.

The details on the clock tower are fascinating and whenever I travel to Stratford that's the first thing I look out for

Skip this. It is not even quaint, just plain bad. You can't hear the music or words because of the trucks passing by and the animation is so basic that it hurts. People built more elaborate things 500 years ago.
