Worth timing your visit to hear the bells which sound as per attached photograph. Quaint old building with a Carillon that still plays.

We weren't expecting to find a glockenspiel here with a 5 minute 'performance' of Romeo and Juliet. Worth a look but difficult to hear the story because of the cars and trucks going by.

An enjoyable 5 minutes of Shakespeare! Hard to hear when trucks rumble past! Only plays at 10, 1, 3 and 7pm. Was worth a short stop on way round Mt Egmont, but not worth going out of your way for.

We went to great pains to head to Stratford to see this clock perform at a set time only to find that the clock hadn’t been changed for daylight saving so there was no performance. If this is one of the town’s pristine attractions surely...More

It's not a glockenspiel as advertised - but a poor recording of music and Shakespeare readings; I'm glad we happened to be passing 5 minutes before it was due to take place - I'd have been sorely disappointed if I had planned my day around...More

Today the clock and glockenspiel was out of commission, probably due to cyclone Gita. The notice gave no suggestion of when it might be repaired

Fantastic to watch. When clock strikes the hour a story telling commences with figurines appearing in the window.

It was great to see the clock and listen to the storey - The speaker had blown so hard to hear over the 18 wheeler trucks going thru town directly in front of it. Maybe a speaker on the otherside of the road would help...More

This clock tower surely adds features and values to Stratford. William Shakespeare's famous scene 'Romeo and Juliet' is played 4 times a day by this clock tower. This is a must-see attraction in Stratford.
